This time the hotel was really crowded, and I appreciated the hotel calling me beforehand to check my arrival time and needs. Since it was so busy, they upgraded us to an Executive Sea View Room, which was a nice touch and showed their thoughtfulness. However, as someone who vacations at the InterContinental Dameisha every year, I was still quite disappointed this time. In the past, the hotel used to give out beach toys and octopus plushies, and there were always friendly, smiling staff everywhere. But this visit was truly disappointing. There were no staff members at the exit from the hotel to the beach, and everyone had to swipe their room cards themselves. With so many people coming and going, it just felt chaotic. The quality of the buffet dinner has also gone down significantly. The previously young, smiling staff now seem older and much more aloof, and the service quality has declined a lot. This hotel used to be the pinnacle of parent-child hotels in Shenzhen, consistently ranked number one. If things continue like this, it will surely be surpassed by the MGM next door. I still hope the current hotel team will put more effort into it and not let a hotel with such a good reputation deteriorate.

The rooms all have sea views and are very clean, with extremely comfortable bedding. The 2-meter bed was perfect for our family of three. The breakfast selection was rich, and the taste was decent. Afternoon tea was also quite good. Overall, I highly recommend it. I'll definitely come back again.

The environment is great, the hotel's private beach is fantastic. It's a naturally beautiful setting. However, the service is really poor. The front desk staff who checked us in were practically cold and indifferent. There's really no service to speak of. The complimentary welcome fruit was so bad it was embarrassing – a few shriveled mandarins and one banana. Honestly, they shouldn't even bother if that's what they're offering. The facilities are just average. And as for the Nevis photo shoot service, no one even told us about it, and we had no idea where to claim it. The service overall is just not proactive or enthusiastic. It definitely doesn't match the price.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, and my experience this time was fantastic. We received a complimentary upgrade to a family suite, a spacious room with a beautiful sea view that was incredibly clean. The private beach was also spotless, which my kids absolutely loved. Unexpectedly good! This trip, I experienced two places: the newly opened MGM next door at Xiaomeisha and the Intercontinental. Both have their advantages. MGM is new, small, and exquisite. The Intercontinental is much larger. When I first arrived at the lobby, there were many people coming and going due to a conference that day. Since I was with my child, they upgraded me to the Club level, which was quieter and less crowded. The breakfast wasn't extensive, but everything was very refined. If I had to choose again, I'd definitely opt for the Club level again.
