Sunshine Hotel of Shenzhen

Very satisfied! Great location and quick check-in. My friend and I both had a good experience. Really good, the room was spacious, the bed was large, and the mattress was comfortable.

This 5-star hotel definitely delivers on environment and service. However, the facilities weren't great, probably due to their age. The air conditioning was leaking, and the toilet was clogged. On the bright side, the Laifen SE hairdryer was excellent, though I didn't get a chance to use the bathtub.

Facilities: Fully equipped, lives up to 5-star standards, aside from being a bit dated. The water pressure on the 15th floor for showering was a bit low. Cleanliness: Given the older decor, it was still quite clean. Environment: The surrounding area is very convenient with malls, restaurants, and the subway all nearby. Service: Room service was very prompt. Although check-in is officially at 2 PM, they helped me check in at 1 PM, and I was able to get a complimentary late check-out until 2 PM.

Sunshine Hotel didn't disappoint me again, I have to give it a big thumbs up! The front desk lady was super nice, proactively asking about my needs and even upgrading my room directly, which was a real surprise. The new room was huge, well-laid out, and had a great view—it was simply comfortable to stay in. The overall service was really on point; from check-in to check-out, all the little details were handled very well. The staff were friendly, and any requests were met super quickly, whether it was calling for room service or asking for directions, everything was arranged perfectly. The room was spotless, the facilities were well-maintained, and the bedding was soft, so I slept soundly. The location was also very convenient, with plenty of food options nearby and good transport links. Sunshine Hotel not only has excellent facilities, but all the service details are also spot-on, making it feel just like coming home.

What I loved most was the late check-out policy, which allowed us to enjoy a leisurely lunch before packing up. It was so thoughtful and convenient! The room was spotless, the facilities were brand new, and the bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed. The view from the window was absolutely stunning, and there were plenty of great restaurants nearby. The staff, from the lobby to housekeeping, were always warm, smiling, and professional. Overall, it was a perfect experience! I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back again.

This must be one of the first five-star hotels in Shenzhen, a real experience of an antique five-star hotel. Facilities: It has everything a standard five-star hotel should have. Though a bit old, everything is functional. Environment: Located in the core area of Guomao, Dongmen Old Street is within walking distance, surrounded by commercial areas. Service: The staff were polite, but perhaps a bit too straightforward. They also didn't seem to notice my early check-in request in the booking. Hygiene: Overall good, with a few minor spots that were missed during cleaning.

Haven't been back to China for a while. I stayed in Shenzhen for two days, and this hotel was a peaceful retreat. It's rare to find such a quiet spot in a central location. The pool and food in the room were both commendable. I especially want to praise Jacky, the lobby manager, for his truly warm and enthusiastic hospitality. He made me feel right at home.
