It's basically across the main road from wanxiang. There is a good hk style restaurant at that is good for breakfast n tea (photo), think it operates 24/7.And a few high end ones in wanxiang.... Including michelin starred ones. Rooms are OK sized. If you are not a fan of cigarette smoke, get a window room..... If not the air is quite stale in the windowless rooms..... I had to buy my own air freshener. It's about 15 mins walk to dongmen. Washing machine n dryer is free to use.

I love the Hanting chain, the one in Jiujiang anyway. This one in Shenzhen is a bit strange being on the 3rd floor of a housing estate, but just a short stroll across the street takes you to the swankiest shopping complex in town, with the more down-to-earth KK Mall also connected to the subway. Line 1 takes us to most of the places we wanted to go and is just a short trip from the border. Shenzhen is a city of really friendly people and the staff of Hanting are no exception. Housekeeping and reception were just great and they will help you to sign into their internet system if you do not have a China phone number. Internet in China is not exactly the fastest and can be erratic at times, but it does the job. Hanting Shenzhen is a no-frills hotel, but their beds are as comfy as ever, and it is quite charming nestled amongst the local shops, where haircuts cost only 25 RMB. There is free freshly-brewed coffee, chrysanthemum tea and dried lemons in the reception. Breakfast was included but we couldn't wake up before 10 a.m. I only have a bit of an issue with the airconditioner, which blows right down on your face in bed, so I had to sleep the other way round. The rooms are a bit small and the sink - being flat and shallow - does not dispose of dirty matter efficiently. But everything looks good and if I wanted to stay in that area again, I would not choose another hotel but Hanting.

The rooms near the river are too noisy. You can hear the sound of cars passing by and the noise of people on the opposite road across the river. It is very noisy late at night, which affects your rest. The facilities are average.

Conveniently located, the mall is only a 5-minute walk away, with complete dining and shopping options. There are windows to help with air circulation. The room design is a bit outdated, but the shower room has enough hot water.

This stench permeates the entire bathroom area, greatly affecting the user experience. The sanitation of the entire room is worrying, and the bed does not look very fresh. Even if I change the disposable sheets and quilts by myself, there is not much improvement. The overall sanitation is also completely substandard. After checking in, I found that the room was not clean. Because it was too late and I was too tired, I asked to change rooms the next morning, but there was no obvious improvement in the new room. I had no choice but to put on the disposable sheets and quilt covers I bought, but after the child slept on the bed, he actually got a rash on his hands and it was itchy. He cried because of the itching, and it was difficult to relieve the pain after taking medicine at home. The rash on his hands was still itchy, which made us very worried and distressed, and it was enough to show that there were great hidden dangers in the cleanliness of the hotel's bedding. As a well-known chain hotel, such performance is really disappointing. Whether it is room facilities or hygiene and cleanliness, they have not met the required standards, and they have not provided customers with a comfortable and safe accommodation environment at all. I hope the hotel can pay attention to these problems and rectify them, otherwise it will be difficult for customers to choose again.

Very bad hotel, mainly summarized in the following four points: 1. The picture on the introduction page of the King Room A is completely inconsistent with the actual hotel, see the attached picture of the review for details, the king bed is on the left, the coffee table is in the middle, and the bathroom is on the right, the space is narrow and crowded, the bed is against the wall on three sides, the wash basin is next to the toilet, and the actual area is about 8 square meters; 2. The infrastructure is defective: there is no small refrigerator; the water heater has only two temperatures, extremely hot and extremely cold, and there is no normal temperature water for bathing; the dressing mirror is facing the bed, the feng shui is bad; the air purifier is very noisy, like a kettle boiling constantly; the wash basin is a very shallow flat-bottomed square basin with a depth of about 5cm, which means that daily operations such as washing hands, brushing teeth and washing face will splash a lot of water droplets; the water pipe under the pool is exposed; the shower equipment is old and has no overhead spray. In short, I don’t know who boasted that Hanting 3.5 is higher than the full season 4.0, which is a complete fraud. 3. The service was extremely poor. There was a "Do Not Disturb" sign at the door, but the cleaners still came in to clean. I contacted the front desk and was told that "Huazhu Group stipulates that the room must be cleaned every afternoon." This was inconsistent with my previous experience staying at Huazhu's hotels. So I consulted several Huazhu's hotels nearby and received consistent feedback that "the hotel will contact the customer by phone to confirm whether the room needs cleaning service." The work flow of this hotel and the response after feedback to the front desk were completely inconsistent with the actual operation requirements. Regarding some of my personal items in the room that would definitely be touched by the cleaning operation, the front desk also categorically stated that "they would definitely not touch them." If the guest's belongings are lost, should the hotel staff also use "I definitely didn't see it/I definitely didn't touch it" and other statements to shirk responsibility to deny their mistakes in their work? In short, the hotel staff not only failed to provide adequate service, but also lied and made excuses to shirk responsibility. You must not leave valuables in the guest room when staying in this hotel. 4. The building floors are distributed as follows: Home Inn on the 2nd floor, Hanting on the 3rd floor, and Wangyu on the 4th floor. In theory, all three hotels are renovated from commercial properties and the guest room structures should be similar. Home Inn is cheaper, so where is the premium of Hanting? The 5th floor and above are residential buildings, which are said to be under renovation. There is a notice posted at the front desk saying that the opening hours are 8:30-18:00 every day, and the date is unknown. For reference only.

The soundproofing of the room is extremely poor. You can hear the normal conversation next door clearly. The corridor outside the door is extremely soundproof. There are also very noisy construction drills in the afternoon and morning. The bathroom heater only has cold and hot water, which is a bad review.
