Raffles Shenzhen

I rarely write reviews, but the front desk guy was so shy and asked if I had a good experience, to please leave a good review, haha! So here it is. When I first checked into this hotel in Shenzhen, I wasn't particularly impressed and even complained that there wasn't even any fruit. But when I came back in the evening, I found fruit, and also a pot of tremella soup! So heartwarming. Whenever I choose a hotel, I always look for a room with floor-to-ceiling windows and endless views. What I loved most about this place was the bathroom – it was really beautiful and well-detailed. I especially love this hotel now because I had a wonderful dream last night, haha! It's been a long time since I had such a good dream. There was a yoga mat in the room, but unfortunately, it was quite dirty.

This stay was excellent! A special thanks to Nathan, Nora, Singer, Sean, Litz, Camilla, and Qian for their incredibly prompt service. I'll definitely be back!

The room was spacious and the bedding was comfortable. The breakfast was rich and varied, the view was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Thumbs up ( ˘ ³˘)❤

Came to Shenzhen for a weekend getaway and wanted to check out this highly-rated hotel. Overall, the stay was good, but the service and facilities lacked distinctiveness. The view of Shenzhen Bay from the room was a major highlight, and the room's automated equipment was quite advanced. The minibar also offered complimentary soft drinks, which were great. On the downside, the decor lacked character; I couldn't recall the design or color scheme after checking out. Also, for a city hotel costing over 2500, while it did come with a butler, their service felt rather ceremonial with little substance. There wasn't a good introduction to the hotel's public areas or unique features, so I didn't get to experience many activities in those areas during my stay. Ultimately, the value for money wasn't great.

The room was incredibly spacious. The hotel even surprised me with a cake for my birthday, which was a lovely touch. The yellow bathrobe was exceptionally comfortable. I loved it so much that I immediately bought a new one from the butler after checking out! I was initially told there would be a charge for extra beds, and I requested two. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel waived the extra bed fees when I checked out. It was a wonderful and unexpected gesture. Big thanks to the butler team — Kathryn, Maddy, Qian, and Echo — as well as the duty manager, Singer, for their excellent service. The only minor disappointment was that some of the Panorama Suite layouts differed slightly from the pictures on Trip.com, and the specific room type I wanted was fully booked. However, this didn't dampen my overall positive impression of the hotel. If I have the chance, I would definitely choose Raffles again. I hope to get my preferred Panorama Suite layout next time. (The evening buffet at the Starlight restaurant was absolutely delicious, especially the all-you-can-eat oysters – six different kinds! So delightful.)

Our stay at the Raffles Shenzhen this time was an absolute surprise, far exceeding our expectations! We booked two rooms: one Little Prince themed kids' room and another city-view room with an amazing panorama. Both rooms were incredibly thoughtfully designed. The moment we stepped into the Little Prince room, we were enchanted – B612 planet elements, an airplane-shaped bed, and a starry sky mural made it feel like we'd entered a real fairy tale. Our child was thrilled the entire time! The welcome ceremony was a nice touch, but the real highlight was the bedding, so soft and comfortable. One night's sleep completely washed away our travel fatigue; even my picky family members couldn't stop praising it. What made our stay even more heartwarming was the hotel's service. Our three butlers, Kathryn, Leo, and Maddy, were consistently available, both enthusiastic and professional. From the detailed guidance during check-in to their thoughtful check-ins throughout our stay and fulfilling our various small requests, every detail was meticulously handled, making our entire trip exceptionally comfortable.
