Convenient location with Nanshan train station right in-front of the hotel. Hotel is also surrounded by many restaurants. There are robot that helps to deliver food to our doorstep too. Their service staffs especially the ladies are nice and helpful, giving good service even after we check out of the hotel.

If u want to drive to Mainland without traffic, other areas of attractions , Happy valley n more greenery chose Holiday Inn express. 1 minute walk to the Metro station and food delivery ( Robot will deliver to your room) 😊 Standard HInn exp. we enjoyed our stay.

The building security office is rude and unfriendly to Taxi / DiDi, the security officer (i.e. old man) enjoys chasing away vehicles who are just picking-up / dropping-off. The old man is better suited working in a prison compound, I sincerely suggest the building management can save more money by rearing a few rottweiler if security is the only priority.
Where is the customer service element? Am I a respected hotel guest or an unwelcomed disturbance?
Due the security officer abusive behavior, I have to carry three huge luggage to the main road to board the Taxi / DiDi.
The driver from the Didi Ride Hailing App even prefers to "cancel“, and not enter the Hotel Lobby for pick-up and drop-off.

The location is great. Holiday Inn, as a valuable IHG brand, perhaps should stay away from this kind of Chinese hotel franchising. Renting 2 floors of a neighborhood estate does not make it a hotel, at least not for Holiday Inn. An independent building is a must…

Staff works very hard and has very good service attitude. Room is bit dated, so the actual doesnt look as good as the photos. Cleaning can be improved; see dust in corners and mold in bathroom
