Excellent Stay with Outstanding Service and Food (Except Breakfast) I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Shenzhen Bao’an and had a largely positive experience. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Bao’an District, surrounded by shopping malls, vibrant food scenes, and plenty of dining options. It’s also just about 30 minutes’ drive from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, making it ideal for travelers. The staff were exceptionally professional and attentive, true to Hilton’s standards. Check-in was lightning fast, and without even asking, they allowed an early check-in, which was a pleasant surprise after a long journey. One of the highlights was the Angus steak lunch at the on-site restaurant. It was superb: the beef was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. If you’re staying here, don’t miss it, it’s easily a 10/10! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a supportive bed and plush pillows that ensured a great night’s sleep. Take note that the bathroom glass is a bit transparent and there is no wall hanger or some sort to hag your clean clothes, hassle for family. I used the guest laundry facilities, and a staff member proactively approached me to assist, handling the drying and even delivering the clothes back to my room. This level of thoughtful service really stood out. My only feedback is on the breakfast buffet. The options were quite limited, and the quality was just average, barely passing in my opinion (I’d rate it 5/10). Coming off the amazing steak the day before, I had higher expectations, but it fell short compared to other Hilton properties I’ve visited. Overall, this is a solid choice for business or leisure in Shenzhen, especially for the service, rooms, and that fantastic steak. I’d return, perhaps skipping the breakfast next time and exploring nearby eateries instead!
