It is an oldie but classic. Great destination with a lot of Japanese restaurants downstairs. With Houhai mall close by and metro basically next to the hotel, you are in the middle of Nanshan, Shenzhen. The rooms are a bit old, but very well maintained. Service is really good and there is also English speaking staff. They have a small pool, gym, sauna, snooker table for use. Breakfast buffet is plenty and also have a bit western choices. Nice place to stay!

Enter the hotel from the north gate of Tianli Mingcheng. The first floor is the customer service department and the seventh floor is the guest rooms. The large windowless room is not large in area, but has complete items and neat decoration. The kettle is clean and the TV screen is huge. There are many kinds of breakfast, rich and delicious.

The hotel is close to subway station, so it is convenient to reach. The room is really big and have everything you need for your stay. Staff is helpful. Special thx to 薛之谦 who called and informed my gf , her glassses were left in the hotel room so we could return and get them back from the reception desk.

Place was well located 5 minutes walk to Nanshan station with lines 11 and 12 metro. Clean small room and enough for my needs. Has a washer too and hanging area which is really convenient for my few days stay. No tea and coffee but each day gave 2 bottles of water on the table and another two bottles on the fridge...super considerate! Also gave toothbrushes, slippers and has a hairdryer. All staff both at reception (especially Mr Wong!) and the cleaners were really nice which made my stay so enjoyable. Maybe the only thing is to have at least one English TV channel (like CGTN?) as didn't understand all the Chinese channels. Next time will try to get a room with a window which then would be perfect!

Bed was comfy and great size, shower had high water pressure and really good temperature throughout the day (also no leakage to the floor), AC was responsive and accurate (though all controls and wording are in Chinese but that was no problem for me as it was straightforward to use. Location was close to the metro stop. Wash the included hand and face towels but that’s a minor complaint.

Service was very good but unfortunately the room space/configuration and cleanliness was a bit disappointing. Checked-in late in the evening but my room just got cleaned-up and my room door was grand opened when I arrived in the floor and the room totally wet as just washed with large amount of water… not a single dry spot in the rim to drop my luggage and actually walking-in in such condition made the room very dirty. Also the room is extremely small with almost no space to open luggage and very tight space between the bed and the walls. Also the room didn’t have a single table expect the amenity table which already packed with boiler cups and other thing so no space to put any thing else and no chair or desk to sit and work inside the room
