NiHao Properties in Shenzhen

I stayed two nights and killed a total of four small flying insects (one by the door and three in the bathroom)... I've never stayed in a hotel with so many flying insects before... Also, the TV was a hassle. After sleeping one night, I turned it on in the morning and it showed no signal. I asked the front desk staff, and they said that when there's no signal, you have to remove the room card from the wall, turn off the power, and then reinsert the card to reconnect the signal. Okay, I did that and there was a signal, but the next morning when I turned the TV on, there was no signal again! I had to turn off the power again to get a signal... So I have to do this every morning? Is it too much trouble? Also, there was a slight smell of smoke as soon as I entered the room... and there was no spare toilet paper, only one roll... I ran out by the second night, so I had to use the tissues on the table in the room. The only good thing was that the cleaning lady was very friendly. She would proactively ask if I needed cleaning and would chat with my child for a bit.

The main reason to book this hotel is because it is quite close to the Guomao station, which is itself only one stop away from Luohu /Lo Wu, the HK border. THus, it is possible to stay here after doing a day trip in Hong Kong to save money on hotel, especially if you are going to the Mainland later anwyay. For this price it is impossible to find a half decent hotel in Hong Kong I reckon. Another convenient thing is you can take a subway direct to Luohu from Admiralty, then the border crossing is fairly quick even for international travelers, in my view it is faster than the west kowloon immigration and also slightly less stressful becuase you don't have to worry about missing your train or whatever. Another beenfit is there is a mall (Kingglory) in Guomao station so you can get some food from the Mainland food chains. And nearby there are plenty of spa places. The room itself and hotel is fine, nothing to really say here, it's the location that is worth pointing out.

This hotel is super close to Shenzhen North Station, making it incredibly convenient for catching high-speed trains. There are also tons of restaurants around the hotel. Plus, the front desk staff were really enthusiastic and helpful. Thanks for the great service! I hope to see you all when I visit again, hopefully as managers!

This hotel really exceeded expectations! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable and soft, and the service staff was warm and thoughtful. The location is excellent, the surrounding transportation is convenient, and many attractions are within walking distance. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes great. I especially like the front desk lady, helped upgrade the room and patiently answered various questions. The price is super high, I will definitely choose to stay next time! Highly recommended to all friends~
