Shima Kanko Hotel the Bay Suites

The wood veneer in the elevator was peeling. The wardrobe couldn't be closed properly. The rain shower sprayed randomly. The outdoor sofa in the lounge didn't have foam cushions. The food was okay. Limo's service was convenient.

The hospitality of the staff and the wonderful resort atmosphere made me want to return to this top-class resort hotel.

The room was spacious and luxurious, but the public bath and club lounge were somewhat disappointing. The sweets provided were the same every time, which was a bit of a letdown. However, I usually avoid French cuisine because I dislike how overly elaborate it is, but the food at this hotel was warm and wonderful. Later, I learned that the head chef was a woman, which made perfect sense. The breakfast also showcased the quality of the ingredients throughout, allowing me to relax from the start of the day.

There is a shuttle bus at Kashikojima Station. Find the driver of the hotel bus. The suite will immediately notify the Toyota car to pick you up. It takes three to five minutes by car. After arriving at the hotel, you can enjoy the 5-star service. All rooms face the sea and the sun is shining. The facilities are high-end and complete with 100 square meters. The small refrigerator is all free, and there are Mikimoto skin care products. The lounge has a terrace with an excellent view, and the food and drinks prepared are also exquisite. The service here is perfect. I checked in on my birthday. When checking in, I was asked to choose whether the check-in was on my birthday anniversary. I didn't want to bother others to choose sightseeing. As a result, the staff of the French restaurant on the 5th floor sent greeting cards and beautiful desserts. The chef came to bless me kindly, gentle and decent. Please experience the hotel's cruise ship. 3,600 yen per person is very worthwhile. It takes 45 minutes to visit Ago Bay. The memorial hall of the G7 meeting is a few minutes away from the building next door, and the car can be sent there at any time. In addition to good facilities, this hotel can host high-level meetings. More importantly, there is a perfect service team here. Everything is great. Staying for one night is unsatisfactory. 11 is the commemoration of Yamazaki Toyoko's stay in "White Tower" that I like. I recommend the French restaurant on the 5th floor, which has a better view and the dishes taste great. I had breakfast at the Japanese restaurant on the 4th floor, but the view was a little worse and the taste was a little salty.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and it was the best hotel I've ever stayed at in all areas. I'm grateful for the polite and warm service from all the staff.

The room is a bit old, probably built during the G7 meeting in 2016. But the services are very good, and the scenery is also very good. It feels like being out of this world. It is quiet and I had a good rest.
