Shimoda Kaihin Hotel

This is a Japanese-style onsen hotel. It offers great value for money, including both breakfast and dinner. Dinner was very elaborate, and breakfast was decent too. The room was Japanese-style with a beautiful sea view. The hotel's hot spring was also good. All in all, I stayed for two nights and found it to be very worthwhile.

The room was clean and had a great view! The breakfast service might be short, but there was a wide variety of delicious food! We also enjoyed karaoke.

Transportation isn't very convenient, best suited for those driving. Parking is free. It's under the Itoen group. Quality is guaranteed. 300 RMB per night including breakfast and dinner. Both are buffet style, especially dinner with a wide variety of options, even drinks are available. Unlimited Japanese sake, beer, and soft drinks until you're stuffed.

It said it had an ocean view, but while you could see a beautiful ocean from the lobby, you couldn't see anything from the room, and the floor was so rickety it sounded like it was about to collapse! The meals were a buffet, but there were no seafood dishes or anything like that. Even though it was cheap and included two meals, it was just awful. I'm never going there again 😝

It's a very, very old hotel! But it's clean and hygienic. I didn't see any cockroaches, which some reviews mentioned and scared me all night. I really liked the surrounding environment; it was great! Very quiet!

As its name suggests, the balcony overlooks the bay, and you can hear the sound of the waves just by opening the window. For this price, including two buffet meals, it's incredibly good value. There's also a pool table in the lobby and a hot spring bath.

An old hot spring hotel on a very small and quiet beach. Dinner is a buffet for 1 hour and 30 minutes, including delicious draft beer. A variety of alcoholic beverages are included in the accommodation fee. The food is poor, but it is good to check in before 4:30 to add a special dish. There is a large bath and breakfast is good. I wonder if there is a more cost-effective accommodation in Japan.
