The hotel is quite large and the facilities are a bit old, but the location is great, right by the sea. There are even a few cherry blossom trees downstairs. The food variety isn't extensive, but the price is definitely cheaper than nearby places. Overall, it offers pretty good value for money.

Fairly old building but well maintained. Huge space inside hotel and spacious room. Big onsen indoor pool with outdoor onsen available. Room furniture and condition are old but its good for 1-2 nights. Location is good. Near restaurants and shopping areas. Opposite fish market. Great amount of carpark lots available. Microwave and huge laundromat available. Not to mention 3x karaoke rooms with english/thai/tagalog/vietname/indonesian songs and billard table also for rent!

The room was clean, but there was no private bathroom; you had to go to the public bathhouse. You can borrow bicycles for free. There aren't many restaurants nearby. The hotel price was very attractive, offering great value for money.

I booked an ocean view room, but I was on the first floor and could only see trees. I couldn't see the ocean at all. It's a scam. When I checked with the front desk at checkout, they told me that the instructions on their website didn't specify an ocean view. Trip.com, what's going on? I wish they would coordinate properly. It was my first trip to Shimoda, and I was planning to relax and enjoy the scenery during the off-season, but this was ruined.

The hotel is fantastic; the lobby offers stunning ocean views. The package includes two meals: dinner is kaiseki cuisine, and breakfast is also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. They even have dan dan noodles for late-night snacks. The hotel is very close to Mt. Omuro, right at the foot of the mountain and near the train station. Pick-up service is available before 4:30 PM, and drop-off service is also available at 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 11:30 AM to the train station.

The hotel's name on Ctrip is completely different from its actual name. It's called Shimoda Itoen Hotel Misaki. From Izukyu Shimoda Station, you can take bus S05, S31, or S32 (towards Shirahama Coast) from bus stop 9 to Takegahama Station – much more convenient than walking with your luggage for 10 minutes. At check-in, we paid 130 yen per person for the onsen (hot spring) fee. There's a yukata corner opposite the reception desk with a huge selection of yukatas! Compared to the yukata at the Ito Hotel the next day, this one is truly five stars! The bath is on the second floor, with both indoor and outdoor open-air baths. Ladies, be aware that when bathing in the open-air bath, you can see windows on the upper floors of the annex from the outer edge of the tub, and vice versa. We booked a superior quadruple room, which was more than enough for two people. We were woken up by the howling sea wind in the morning (Typhoon No. 22 made landfall), but the second floor was too low, and the sea view was blocked by trees, so we couldn't take any pictures of the spectacular sight of yachts and boats on the sea. Turn right after exiting the hotel to find the fish market. We ate breakfast and lunch at the market's food court; the sashimi set meals were incredibly fresh, but cash only. If I ever come to Minami-Izu again, I'll definitely stay here again!!

The room had old-fashioned Japanese tatami mats, which were a bit worn, and the corners and edges weren't very clean. Most of the guests staying on weekends were Japanese people coming to soak in the hot springs. The seaside location was decent, and transportation was fairly convenient. For breakfast, there was a fish market set meal across the street, and a little further on, a pretty good sushi restaurant.

It was absolutely amazing! Traveling alone, a one-night stay with two meals included only cost a little over 400 RMB. The food was great, especially the Izu tofu – you absolutely must try it! The only downside was that the sixth-floor platform overlooks the hot spring baths below, so I felt a little embarrassed to go in.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Izukyu Shimoda Station, in a beautiful surrounding area. Free bicycle service is available in the lobby. The buffet food for the two-meal-per-night stay is just average, but the complimentary drinks are a plus. The Japanese-style rooms are quite large with nice views, but the rooms are a bit dirty, perhaps due to the older decor. Overall, the price-performance ratio is good, and you can book with confidence.

The room is large and fully equipped! The bathroom, washroom and toilet are all separate. It's close to the seaside and about eight or nine minutes' walk from the station. It's also relatively easy to go shopping nearby, with plenty of food and drinks. Very good value for money. It is best to put a dehumidifier in the room, as the humidity is higher at the beach, especially in this season.

Stayed on August 7th. There were no parking spaces available, so I had to wait a long time on the street before the hotel opened until check-in. I was eventually guided to the employee parking lot, but I wonder if they didn't know how many cars would be coming in the season. It's not actually the case, but the initial response was so bad that it left a bad impression on me.

The scenery nearby is very good and the distance from the station is acceptable. However, the hotel facilities are really old and the hotel needs to renovate the rooms.

It was simple with one indoor bath and one outdoor bath, but it was nice to have a bath where you could stretch your legs.
