Shimoda Central Hotel

There happened to be an opening, and the reviews were good, so I went there with my three children. The room with an open-air bath was close to the lobby, which was helpful. There are free drinks in the lobby, which I think is great service. The open-air bath in the guest room was nice and large enough, and above all, the garden gives you a sense of spaciousness. Many inns have installed open-air baths for the time being, but this is wonderful. The large public bath is normal...I guess. The quality of the bath in the room was so high that I only used it once. For dinner, the spiny lobster sashimi was the best. Breakfast is also nice and has a lot of variety. I'm a little disappointed that the staff didn't seem to be that attentive. As the reviews said, it was a good inn to enjoy an extraordinary experience.

My husband had miso pickled red sea bream, my daughter had onion rings and pudding, and I had horse mackerel namero and miso soup. The hot spring felt like a sea hot spring, but it was clean and even though it was full, there were only 2 or 3 people there at any given time, so I was very satisfied. I took it easy. I am very satisfied with the courteous and polite response of the staff. They also made sure to accommodate allergies. The only regret I have is that I had informed them about birthdays and anniversaries in advance, but they were not fully conveyed... The price is not cheap, so I would like to ask when I want to have a relaxing and relaxing stay.

I arrived at the hospital by ambulance, received a medical examination, took a CT scan, and was told, "It's okay to go back to the hotel." I called the hotel and they came to pick me up. (Around 3:00 am) The bed was clean, and thanks to you, I was able to rest with peace of mind. The staff brought breakfast to my room and I was able to rest until checkout at 11:00. It is a luxury inn with its own hot spring on a 10,000 tsubo site where a clear stream flows. I came here in February and liked it, so I revisited it using a coupon issued in Shimoda City. Although it is Shimoda City, it is located in the original landscape of satoyama. You can spend a little luxurious time. In addition, breakfast is a buffet.

Location Location is disappointing. It is not easy to reach by car from the Tokyo area. Since there is a hot spring, there is no way to do it here. A walk can only go out into the street and back. There was a river nearby, and the Kawazu cherry blossoms along the river were just around the corner and beautiful, so I thought it would be nice to have a walking path. It is a relatively large inn, and I think there were about 40 rooms. There are 2 restaurants. We were eating in the room so we couldn't use it, but it was an entrance with an atmosphere that made us want to enter. There is also a tennis court and a full-fledged pool (outdoor), and for those who actively use these, I think it is suitable for a few days stay together with the hot springs. I walked all over the hall, but the cleaning was perfect and I didn't feel any discomfort. Guest room We used an open-air bath room with a garden. The garden has a concept for each room, and the room I used was a "scented garden". Shencho flower and holly ginnanten were very fragrant. The open-air bath in the guest room is a luxurious size for two people to bathe in. It was a highly alkaline hot spring, and it was very pleasant. There was a request for improvement in the guest room open-air bath. Some parts of the stone floor were very slippery. My wife and I were so slippery that we almost fell down. I think it's not because of lack of cleaning, but because the surface of the stone has become slippery over time, or because the stone was originally like that. In any case, improvements are desired for safety. The bed was moderately hard (I prefer hard) and it was very comfortable. The drinks prepared in the refrigerator were all included including alcohol. It's not a big deal, but it was very convenient for a quick drink after taking a bath. I thought it was a good attitude not to seek profit in such a place. Meals Dinner and breakfast were served in the room. The table was a low chair, not a standard Japanese-style room where you sit straight on the floor. Since my daily life is at the table, I was able to sit and eat without getting tired even in a Japanese-style room. I felt that I was able to eat the local food without any strangeness or unnatural presentation. All of them were delicious, but the bamboo shoot rice cooked one by one in a small pot for dinner was an exquisite dish that matched the local rice and elegant seasoning. You can choose between Japanese and Western breakfast. My wife chose Western food, but she seemed to make Western food well, so there was no makeshift feeling. Several kinds of bread were also prepared. I think that it belongs to a high level category as Western food at a ryokan. Service There was a yukata rental. Women's clothes have a wide variety of patterns and sizes, and my wife enjoyed choosing them. The service of serving a welcome drink at your preferred time is also excellent. We had draft beer at dinner. I asked Mr. Nakai questions on several occasions, but I didn't feel half-hearted in answering on the spot. I spoke with several Nakai-sans, and they seemed to be consistent in their responses and well-educated. The cooking instructions were detailed and polite. Large public bath I entered around 15:30 after check-in. Facing west, the sun was setting, and I was able to bathe comfortably while feeling the pleasant breeze. The service milk was very delicious, unlike the supermarket ones. Price The cost performance can be evaluated as the top among the inns we have used so far.

A luxury inn with its own hot spring source from Shimoda, Izu, Aidama Onsen. I arrived a little early, so I had my picture taken at the entrance, and had yuzu tea and coffee in the large lobby lounge before check-in. It was a good atmosphere from the beginning with welcoming customer service (you can drink coffee at any time). The room on the second floor is a Japanese-Western style room, but it was a large room with a table and chairs in the Japanese-style room, two semi-double beds, and a wide veranda. The bath in the room was also a hot spring. The large public bath and dressing/washing area were clean, and the open-air bath was very large. You can drink (coffee) milk after taking a bath. At the hotel lounge, there was a tasting of local sake, and I had it at the lounge counter. My wife, who was pleased with the polite and warm service, asked for a beer. In the meantime, Healthy served me a vinegar drink for tasting. We had dinner in a beautiful restaurant with high ceilings. All of the “Kanrei no Sourzen” looked beautiful and went well with sake. Alcohol was reasonably priced at 2400 yen for a non-local sake bottle. I thought that the breakfast was a buffet even though it was a luxury hotel, but it was a delicious buffet and I ended up eating too much. Even after I checked out, they carried my luggage to the car, and about 10 staff said thank you and saw me off until the car left.
