We used the private outdoor onsens which were stunning. Didnt use the swimming pool but it had good views of the sea. Free beverages the entire time. We could use the billiard table, darts, piano and entertainment area in the common room. The breakfast was amazing and staff were really hospitable, very homey feel. We were upgraded to seaside room with stunning views of the sea. You need to drive to the hotel, the slope is quite steep if you’re not a confident driver. It is a bit difficult to walk around town

The room is a bit long, but fortunately it is clean and hygienic. I suggest you book a sea view room. It is really beautiful and you must watch the sunrise! ! However, it is not very convenient to call a taxi at this hotel. It is recommended that if you want to travel, you must go early because the bus closes very early.

The hotel is great! The scenery is beautiful, the environment is comfortable, and the sleep is quiet. I stayed for two nights this time, including breakfast and dinner. The hotel has an infinity swimming pool and a hot spring pool (although it is not a private bath, you can reserve a time period for your own use, which also ensures sufficient privacy). The hotel is also not far from the beach, within walking distance.

The breakfast was just the right amount and delicious. I wish I could have had dinner as well.

Although I was staying with a small child, they were very kind and I was able to spend a relaxing time there. thank you very much.

The garden villa has several types of accommodation: rooms in the main residence with or without ocean view and independent apartments. We were in the standard hotel room on the side. The value for money was very interesting but the decor is outdated, the bathroom is an added cabin and it is a shame not to take full advantage of the balcony overlooking the water. To do it again, we would choose a better room or the apartment. The location is on a hill, close to Shiharama beach where surfers meet. A bus leaves the station (stop 9) and runs along the coast to Ito with a stop almost at the foot of the hotel, however pay attention to the timetable: approximately 1 bus/hour. The owners are adorable and do not hesitate to transport you if necessary, especially to and from Shimoda station (main access). The exterior is neat with an infinity pool, a small bar and above all 2 outdoor Onsen which we reserve (40 minutes between 4 p.m. and 9:30 p.m./reservation per room so couple OK)).The latter, facing the ocean, are a real plus. A Barbecue/grill restaurant area was being renovated and should allow on-site catering. At the hotel, the breakfast is good but the hours were strict and restricted: 8 a.m.-8:30 a.m....perhaps because we were out of season? Free access to drinks such as coffee, tea, herbal teas, chocolate... In November, calm guaranteed! A rental car would be really nice.

來日本旅行最滿意的一間，雖然有點遺憾沒吃上晚餐，因為沒有提前預訂。房間的風景絕美，我在房間躺一天，聽一天海浪聲都會很幸福，但是房間是超級隔音的，玻璃有兩層，除非走廊上有人吵，但我沒碰到這種情況，預訂時間泡私湯，幸福感滿滿，每個人四十分鐘足夠了，除了交通不太方便以外其餘都很好。感謝前台服務人員，熱心幫助我，回程主動開車送我去車站，雖然我們語言不是很通，但一直在溝通，很暖心🩷如果下次還有機會來到下田，我想我依然會選擇這家。

酒店本身是個大的別墅 所以有挺大的公共空間可以跟家人打牌喝茶啥的 晚餐不錯 以魚為主。早餐西式定食 我們一家三口住 三張床睡的很好 唯一不好的就是位置有點前不着村後不着店

房間有點時間了 保養的還不錯 進門換鞋穿拖鞋 客房不多 比較安靜 ；2個私湯按房間號預約時間段 保證了私密性；訂的一泊二食 很滿意 精緻但能保證吃飽；酒店真的是面朝大海 發發呆 聽着海浪入睡💤

非常好 整個就是一個家庭旅館 裝修的特別温馨 老奶奶一家人服務也很好很温暖 下雨了去車站的時候 男主人也熱心開車送我們去

This place is very special. It’s family run and the attention to the comfort of their guests is outstanding! The rooms have spectacular sea views, the beds are comfy, there’s a lovely outdoor onsen, and breakfast is delish!! They also will take you into Shimoda, but there’s a super convenient bus stop right outside. Do not miss out on staying here!!!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms are a little sparse but very clean and the view was amazing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We did not eat there but had coffee in the dining room and the food looked amazing. We were up on a hill which gave us beautiful views, and we were about 5-10 minutes from the train station. They were doing improvements to the patio when we were there so I can only imagine how nice it will be when complete. We were still able to lounge at the pool and take in the water views. I would definitely stay again.

A friend of mine highly recommended that we go there because it was so good, so we stayed there for the first time. First of all, the sea in Shimoda on the way there was so beautiful that we were moved. Then, not far from the beach, there is Garden Villa Shirahama. It is a beautiful white building, and when we went inside, we were captivated by the even more beautiful space! The music and decorations were wonderful. Also, all the staff were kind, all the food was delicious, and there were various facilities such as a pool, bar, hot spring, etc. Our stay was so comfortable that the time flew by! The kids also played in the pool, with toys and picture books, and were very satisfied. We would definitely like to come again!

The food was very filling and delicious. The sashimi is fresh, and the fried shrimp is really big and filling. The atmosphere inside the facility was relaxing. The open-air bath was in a detached room, so it was a little difficult to move around, but it was very good because it was open and spacious. I was happy that there was also a hair treatment. I think it's a wonderful hotel where all the employees treat me warmly with a smile! I want to come again. thank you very much.
