We recently had the pleasure of staying at Patalgiri Homestay in Kodachadri, and the experience was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, Praveen made us feel less like guests and more like family. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care stood out throughout our stay. Praveen went above and beyond to make our trip special by guiding us to beautiful local spots, including scenic trekking trails and the Sigandur Bridge in Sagara. He also extended his support in helping us with a smooth and fulfilling darshan at the Mookambika Temple, which we deeply appreciated. A special mention to his parents, who prepared delicious, homely meals for us. The food was simple, fresh, and full of flavor—truly comforting. As a vegetarian household, all meals were vegetarian, and they were prepared with great care and love. The hospitality we experienced here was exceptional, and it left a lasting impression on us. We visited a spot in Kodachadri that turned out to be truly unforgettable, the place itself was ultimate, the food extraordinary and the service simply awesome. In my 15 years of travelling, I’ve never come across customer service and hospitality of this level. The stay, the food and the warmth here set a new benchmark.

We (me, my wife and son) stayed at Kodachadri Pathalagere Homestay on 21st Mar.2026. We were very much impressed with the hospitality shown by Praveen and his family. The food was home-made & yummy, prepared by Praveen's mother and wife with lot of love and care. We experienced power cut which seems common in that forest area, but we managed spending time on star gazing and interesting discussion with Praveen on various topics. Praveen provided the required guidance to visit The Kodachadri Shankaracharya Temple, or Sarvajna Peetha atop the Kodachadri Hill. He also booked the jeep for us to pick us from the homestay on 22nd morning to visit Sarvajna Peetha. Praveen was very friendly, down-to-earth person and very reliable. I would recommend him and his resort for any tourists who would like to visit Kodachadri.

Rooms are very good and gives us the village vibes which was refreshing. Food is very good and homely. Owner is cool and knows well about the kodachadri. Finally the stay and atmosphere there was excellent.

Very nice experience. The location is very good. And the owners are very friendly, giving a wholesome experience. It's close to the waterfalls and I enjoyed a lot.
