Room is spaces with a proper dressing table, a sofa and coffee table and it is very clean. There is 2 coin washing machine (detergent included )and dryers, microwave, vending machine and ice machine. Front desk staff are very polite and helpful. The only down side is my room facing the train station track which is very noisy if I open the window. (The room air conditioner is not cool as in mid April.

Great business hotel. Clean and tidy, helpful stuff (not to mention some of them speak English), good Japanese-style breakfasts. Not scary cold inside! (and believe me, it’s a special point to be considered).
The hotel was chosen because of its location and type. All business hotels are plus-minus the same, but that one was even better than usual ones.
Location: 4 minuted walk to Shimonoseki station (and maybe 12 to a ferry terminal) with a range of buses, a shopping center and several convenience stores.
Absolutely costs its money. My choice for next stops at Shimonoseki.

Hotel lobby is small and oldie, room size is small but quite clean. A good Japanese restaurant just next to the hotel.

This is not the Hotel in the photo added. The hotel is a reasonable Japanese style business hotel. The staff were very kind and friendly and tried to help us with the booking problem cause by Trip.com. The booking agency (Trip.com) had booked us as 6 guests and charged us accordingly. We were 4 adults and one child and were overcharged by Trip.com by 1/3 of the price (about 10,000 yen). The hotel staff were helpful but they couldn't do anything as this was a mistake by the agents not the hotel. I will be contacting Trip.com to ask for a refund of the amount they charged us in error.

Though struggling in English translation, staff were very helpful in giving directions to surrounding areas. Upon departing from hotel in the early morning, one of the male staff even checking for us the connecting train, they even prepared the breakfast especially for us to eat before leaving hotel. Very touching and grateful to them. Thank you. Arigato gozaimatsu.
