Facilities are a bit out of date, but clean. Location is good and the staffs are very helpful!

The location is a bit far from JR. It takes 10 minutes to walk. It is close to a large supermarket and restaurants for shopping. The facilities are relatively old and the sound insulation is not very good. The door needs to be locked with a key. The service is good and they try their best to solve my problem. There is a free washing machine and no choice for breakfast.

The hotel is about 15 minutes' walk from Shingu Station, not too far or too close. I found out before checking out that there were free 28-inch bicycles available. The service staff was very friendly and basically answered all my questions.

The most comfortable hotel to stay in on the Kumano Koro Road. The location is very good, and it is very convenient to take a bus. There is a Family Mart and a large supermarket next to it. There are many places to eat nearby, and I especially recommend the barbecue next to the hotel! The breakfast is also very good~

The room was quite big, the service was very good. It was not marked as a non-smoking room when booking. When I checked in, there was only one night available, but I was still given a non-smoking room for one night. I changed it the next day. The hotel is a little far from the train station, 1.2 kilometers on foot. The breakfast is relatively simple, basically Japanese style. The partitions used in the restaurant during the epidemic are still there. The waitress was very persistent and would not let me in unless I put disinfectant on my hands.

The toilet is a bit leaky and not very busy. The room is big and you can rent bicycles for free. The breakfast is delicious.

When I booked, all the hotels near Shingu Station were sold out, and I didn't want to stay in a tatami-style B&B, so I chose Gran, which is a 16-minute walk from Shingu Station. There are fewer street lights at night. The hotel itself is quite old, and physical keys are used. There is only a large ceiling light in the room, but the hygiene is very good, there are enough sockets, and the service staff are very friendly. There is a microwave and two washing machines. The notice in the elevator said that laundry is free. You can get toothpaste and toothbrushes next to the elevator on the first floor, and there are also a few packs of Pola facial cleanser trial packs. The breakfast is very simple, sliced ​​bread, raw eggs, cooked eggs, rice, miso soup, potato salad, and brewed coffee. There are few restaurants nearby, but there is a large supermarket across the road, which is open until 9 o'clock. Sashimi is cheap, and I saw DHC lip balm for only 350, while other places are 699.

Because it was Golden Week, the breakfast area was hectic and some ingredients ran out, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, it was a good hotel.

I appreciate that breakfast is included, but I think the quantity and quality of the items have declined compared to about a year ago. Is it unavoidable due to rising prices?

The service staff was very friendly and introduced the hotel in detail. They also helped with luggage and called taxis. The room was super big and it was not crowded for three people. It was a Japanese-style room with tatami. The only drawback was that the toilet and bathroom were outside the room, which was really inconvenient to use. There are Kumano Kodo and Xufu Park nearby.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Shingu Station. There were three of us and it cost about 750 yen to take a taxi with our luggage to the hotel. There are restaurants and large supermarkets near the hotel. Many izakayas in Shingu require reservations in advance, otherwise you can only eat fast food, ramen, dumplings, etc.

It's far from the station and I had to walk a distance. The room was cramped and the facilities were old. The surrounding restaurants closed early, and some BBQ restaurants and izakayas that were open at night did not accept foreigners because of the language barrier. I finally found a 24-hour restaurant and had a quick dinner. The breakfast waiters were all elderly, which made me feel that Japan is an aging society, and young people have gone to big cities. However, walking on the quiet streets of Shingu, I saw a beautiful sunset, which was also a good memory.
