Reviews of Shingu UI Hotel

Good experience overall. The rooms are clean, well-maintained & comfortable though a bit dated. The city-center location is great and put us right where we needed to be.

The service was truly disappointing. We arrived quite late and encountered a front desk staff member who seemed rather clueless, which unfortunately delayed our check-in. The room itself was on the older side, and the duvet wasn't properly fitted into its cover, making it barely acceptable for a night's sleep. Additionally, the actual walking distance was significantly further than what was stated on Ctrip, as we had to make a long detour around the railway tracks.

Conveniently located near the train station, and there's a FamilyMart convenience store right next door. You can reach Tanabe Castle, Hayatama Taisha Shrine, Kumano River, and Mount Kamikura, all within a 15-minute walk from the hotel!

Situated on Shingu Chuo-dori, the hotel is very close to the city hall. It's about an 8-minute walk to JR Shingu Station and also conveniently located near the flagship store of the largest local supermarket chain. All things considered, I'd say it's one of the best hotels in Shingu.

The room was very spacious, the bathroom was well-stocked with amenities, and it even featured a large bathtub. It's truly a hotel where you can relax and get a good rest.

Overall, I was quite satisfied. However, the taps were the twist-knob type rather than the lever style, which felt a bit unhygienic. Additionally, perhaps due to its age, there were no bedside charging outlets, which was a minor inconvenience.

The hotel looks relatively new, with complete facilities, clean and hygienic. The room can accommodate large suitcases. The front desk staff is friendly. It is a 7-8 minute walk to the JR station, and the walking distance to Xufu Park and Kumano Hayatama Taisha is acceptable.

The hotel facilities are OK, but the toothbrush is too small and can only be used once. I need to use another set of teeth brushing in the morning and evening. The location is a bit remote. The hotel is relatively environmentally friendly and will ask guests if they need to reserve a room. If you stay for 2 days, you don't need it.

I stayed here on the way to Nachi Falls. The building and interior are a little old, but the room was kept clean and I had a comfortable stay. The breakfast also had a wide variety of options and was delicious.

The room is relatively old and has poor sound insulation. The main advantage is the location, which is very close to the JR station. The service was very good, and we were given a box to store for a day after check-out.

The room is spacious and clean. We mainly check in to shrines and other places, and the transportation is convenient.

Very ordinary, like a Samsung guest house in a small city.
