Best Hotels in Shiogama

I think the biggest strength is that there is a hot spring facility. I thought the price setting was also exquisite. The cost was just under 15,000 yen per person for 1 child and 2 adults, including breakfast. Before making the reservation, I was worried about whether to make a reservation because the room seemed small, but when I actually saw it, the furniture was well arranged and it was easy to use. The abundance of electrical outlets was also helpful. The surrounding area seems to be a factory area, there are a lot of trucks, and smoke is coming out from what looks like a factory, so I wonder if I chose the wrong hotel. However, the service and ideas made up for the negative aspects, and after staying at the hotel, I felt that it was a great hotel. I would also like to stay at another Dormy Inn. Dormy Inn, which is close to the station, has a paid parking lot, but this one, which is far from the station, has free parking. There are some hotels that charge a fee even though they are far from the station, and I don't stay at those hotels (lol).They don't seem to be trying to provide service that is up to date with the times. For breakfast, there were signs introducing Sendai's specialties, so it was easy to understand and I enjoyed the meal. I also like the taste. Some people said it had a strong flavor, but I think the real pleasure of traveling is enjoying the seasonings tailored to the region. Unfortunately, Sasakama was out of stock 30 minutes after breakfast started. I bought some at the station, but I think it would have been better if I had eaten it for breakfast instead of eating it straight out of the bag. The Yonaki Ramen served in the evening was a simple soy sauce ramen that was delicious. It's exciting to eat together at night.

Check-in response is very polite. There is also a see-and-see to the elevator. The welcome bar is rich in variety. There was also a ichinozo. The public bath is full of ３, ４ people. It was up to ３ people in the corona countermeasure. The breakfast bread is delicious. The number of breakfast items is small. The room is not large, so there may be no place for large luggage. I am generally satisfied because I can spend it relaxing.

We have had the loveliest of stays here! It is a very friendly hotel, and it felt like an authentic modern Japanese experience. The buffet for dinner and breakfast were amazing, with lots of fresh fish and salads. We were travelling for a special birthday, and the hotel kindly gave us a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate, which was a lovely touch! The onsen (sento) was quite an experience. It is separate for men and women, and has a beautiful outdoor pool with views over the bay, which is highly recommended! We had a Mountain View room, but this didn’t detract from the enjoyment at all. There is not really a bar to have pre-dinner drinks, but there is a gift shop which sells beer and wine to enjoy in your room. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d highly recommend it to all travellers!

I am so glad I chose Komatsu-kan during my stay in Matsushima. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. When I told him I am a vegetarian, he kindly informed the kitchen to exclude animal flesh and seafood from my meal. (Usually, hotels ignored my food request, or they just gave me tofu and pickles for my meal.) The next morning, I was so surprised to see my breakfast. I loved the fresh salad, steamed vegetables, over-easy eggs, chawan-mushi, and the pickles even tasted better than before. Then the room surprised me with the pine tree and the beautiful sea view. The next morning I woke up at 4:45 to see the sunrise. Just from my room, I could see the sun slowly rising from the other side of the sea. Stunning! I really enjoyed the little Me time here. Actually, this hotel is well-maintained, and that helps raise the value of it. I also love the fresh little flowers right next to the washing basin. And the people working here are quite ya-sa-shi. They are kind and gentle. Generally speaking, this is a nice place worth staying and relaxing in.

The room is very quiet and clean. It is located on the 7th floor of the main building, facing the street and overlooking it. I like it very much! ! Although the area is small, the facilities are all available, and all have very warm and meticulous tips, very touched! In addition, the two things that make me most happy are: First, when I checked in, the front desk worked hard and patiently and carefully communicated with me. Here, I sincerely wish the two young staff a smooth work and a happy life! Second, the gift sent by a friend was intact in my room when I checked in. This is really considerate! ! First time using this. Look online and choose Sakura's room on the 4th floor. It was a trip to honor each other's hard work for many years on each other's 60th birthday. A satisfying dinner that I had without saving. After the meal, the hotel staff gave us a surprise celebration 💮 A wonderful performance at the timing when we were saying, “Let’s go back to our room soon” 🎇 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your thoughtfulness. Thank you very much to all the friendly staff who took care of us. Next time I would like to use it with my family for 3 generations 😊

It feels clean and bright, the breakfast is good, and the hotel is not far from the subway station, which is quite convenient. I stayed here for 5 days at this price and felt comfortable. The only thing was the pillows were numb. I will stay here again next time.
