I am not one to leave bad reviews at places. I’ll usually try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but this was truly one of, if not the worst places we’ve ever tried to stay. I absolutely do not know how this place is still open. We reserved the room ahead of time since we would be checking in late (on a drive from OKC to Baton Rouge). We got there around 11 pm. Our first red flag should have been that the parking lot was absolutely empty. There were literally maybe 5 cars parked in the whole place, and it’s a large facility. The lobby area appears very run-down, there was no heat, and it smelled of mildew. We saw the sign on the desk that they are currently renovating, so maybe that’s what was going on (although, there were no signs of any renovations actually taking place anywhere in the hotel). They advertise that there is no breakfast, restaurant, or bar due to the renovations, but only on a sign in the lobby, and not on their website. False advertising should have been red flag number two. We were given our key and we went to our room. Room 135 was disgusting. I didn’t realize until after I got in and went to the bathroom to wash my face and get ready for bed. There was zero toilet paper in the bathroom. There were also zero towels or washcloths in the room. The bathroom sink has someone else’s hair all in it. The shower curtain holder was falling out of the wall and there was gaping hole in the wall next to the shower head where it looked like the wall was falling in on itself. The bed appeared to be cleaned, but with the rest of the room looking like it did, I was super hesitant to get into it. My husband went back up to the desk and asked if we could switch rooms. They gave us the key to 145, which was just down the hall. I had already taken my shoes off and was wearing socks. As I walked down the carpeted hallway, I was met with a giant wet spot in the floor. The hallway also reeked of mold/mildew. We went into 145, and although there was at least toilet paper and a towel, the sink was again full of hair from someone else. We decided to leave and go try to find a room elsewhere. In our haste to leave, my husband left his toiletry bag in the room. When he called back, there was someone new at the desk and he said he would go get it out of the room and put it at the front desk so we could come and get it in the morning. When we called in the morning, someone new was on and said that there wasn’t anything there. She said she would go and look in the room and then call my husband back. She did not. So he drove back down the street and waited in the lobby for 15 minutes with no one there. During that time he went to try the lobby bathrooms, and they were all stopped up, full of excrement, and not working. My husband said the smell made him gag. Again, I do not know how this place is still open. To me there are blatant health code violations that make this an unsafe place to stay in.

The check-in clerk changed my reservation to a new booking, disregarding my printed proof of my on-line reservation I had made two weeks prior, then gave me the business I needed to call Price-line and sort the charges out on my own time. Courteously but time consuming, Price-line canceled my no-cancel purchase after nearly an hour had passed. There was no clasp on my room door, and further, the adjoining room door was missing the padlock and even a door handle! I was given no hot water in the shower after running the shower-head for fifteen minutes. I finally decided to wash my hair in the bathroom basin which was satisfactorily warm enough. I only give one star due to the price I paid in the process was unbelievably "cheap" but so was everything else, and the bedding and condition of the furniture was acceptable, though I am not necessarily a picky guy.

Book a room at this hotel only if you are willing to pay them without getting a room! We booked a room at this hotel by calling their central reservation line, secured it with credit card, when we went to check-in, we were told we don't have any rooms available! After few minutes, we were told, we can give you a room, it is on second floor. When we went into the room, it had: dirty bathroom (it was really dirty), heavy mold, very bad mold smell, ceiling panels were hanging, no TV, where TV is supposed to, there were open wires, no light, only light in the room was night light on night stand, the lobby also didn't have light. When we said, this is not inhabitable room, we were told "we are under renovation and this is only thing we have". Front desk had offered that same room to three other guests before us and each one had refused to stay in there (we saw them leave the hotel in frustration). We were told since they don't have room, they shall not charge us (of course not, right?). We were charged full amount on our credit card. When we called hotel to ask them why we were charged, manager rudely hung up on us. We filed complaint with Wyndham and they asked for our complete credit card statement, receipt from other hotel we stayed at. After providing those things, they didn't do anything! We called our credit card company to dispute the charge, in response, hotel gave refund and next day, reversed the refund!!! Credit card company closed the dispute saying hotel has provided credit. But, hotel had already reversed the credit by charging credit card again!! I am not sure how can they get an occupancy certificate for their rooms from city when their rooms are in such bad shape!!

Since our overnight stay on Aug 9, we have reported this hotel to 3 agencies. Most unsettling stay of our vacation. What ws touted as a special deal because of renovation, became a safety nightmare. No phone in room, no working smoke detector, flaking chunks of ceiling come down in shower. (Yes, we skipped the shower.) Reduced amenities due to "remodel." Remodel? Reconstruction? There is NO first floor lobby AC. Stale, stuffy, stinky (microbial?) breathing air. Wimpy AC in room was locked into one setting. This is the tip of the iceberg. Worst stay EVER as a Wyndham Rewards member. We are still baffled as to how this hotel is permitted to opening its doors to new people. I won't say "guest" because no one would host a family or friend in these conditions. It should be SHUT DOWN until remodeled to acceptable standards.

The hotel is undergoing renovations that the maintenance personnel said have been in progress for the last 2 years and so most amenities are not available. The pool was not clean, there was a bug on the bed, and the lobby was hot. The staff was very nice, but the hotel is not guest-ready.

Nothing advertised on the website was actually true. No breakfast, no coffee, no tea, no bar inside, no bedding for the pull out bed, AC vents in room covered with mold, elevator not functional yet no warning signs posted, pictures online were old pictures from when hotel was a completely different hotel. Still waiting on my refund. Place was so disgusting that I refused to allow my family to stay here.

Cooling systems don't work. no pressure in shower, NO BREAKFAST as advertised, everything is ratty Sign says under renovation but no evidence that anything is being done. Never before have I been sent to my room to see if the AC works before checking in.

The place doesn't offer any of the amenities it promises. It's vacant and has a rather eerie feeling. I called to get my folio and got hung up on by the staff - not only do they have no patrons to serve, but when they do have one they're completely disrespectful. I also got a random $25 charge that I'm attempting to follow up on (hard to do when they hang up on you!)

Unfortunately the disrepair this hotel has endured is too much. Don’t understand how it is still open. Multiple code violations, including exposed wiring from an outlet and water damage bubbles in the paint. Stains on the carpet and construction rubble in the room. Did not stay because none of the rooms have been renovated. Construction workers seem to be working only on a staff property in the back of the hotel. With so many hotels in the area booked with blue collar workers and business travelers, this hotel is almost completely vacant. The only new thing is the sign. I’m sure it was once a nice property but locals know it has been run-down for a very long time. I didn’t see any pests but was extremely uncomfortable after looking over the room. I could not stay here and found other accomodations.

Please don't stay at this dump. Everything else around us was booked so it was too late to go somewhere else. Its under renovation yet nothing is being fixed. Felt like a ghosttown and a scary movie. Most of the rooms are empty. There is old smelly furniture lined through most of the halls. There is no free breakfast as advertised. Had to call twice about ac not working. Housekeeping never showed up. Some parts of the ceiling was missing and some was caked with black mold. There was a box patch covering a hole in the elevator. The whole place just smelled like mold, mildew and smoke. Im sure if the fire dept showed up they would get many code violations from old the old gross furniture lining the hallways. Im so dissapointed in ramada right now. 3 emails later and no response.

Room was smelly and dirty. It was animal hair all over the carpet, the elevator didn’t work and the bed smelled like someone urinated on it. Just a horrible experience! I will never go back or suggest this place to anyone ever.

Honestly the hotel definitely needs fixed there’s a lot of damage and it definitely feels run down on the inside. Our room wasn’t bad there were a couple mold spots it served its purpose though we only slept in it for one night. It was quite but that could be because not many people were staying there. I was disappointed that it stated there was breakfast, but when we got there it stated no breakfast (due to covid) there are signs posted everywhere that they were remodeling even though we didn’t see anything being done. It definitely needed a lot of work lobby was nice room was okay but the rest was very creepy and run down! Staff was amazing though!

This was the WORST hotel I have been to. No heat, not shuttle, no breakfast. Rooms were absolutely disgusting too. False advertised on their website. Said RENOVATIONS being done but there was no one there doing any work at all. Staff was the ONLY good thing. Super nice and empathetic. Unbelievable that corporate would allow them to worn in these conditions. Will be making an official complaint.

This hotel is horrible! Yes, it says going through renovations, but they fail to mention that it’s full of water damage, which in turn has mold growing every where. Carpets on the 1st floor are soaking wet. A/C didn’t work in my room. Mold and mildew on ceilings and walls. Electrical outlets are burnt and hanging out the walls.

Called for a shuttle from the airport 3 times no answer. Got Uber to hotel sign says no airport shuttle,no breakfrst or bar. Noisy people in the halls. Bathtub had a hole in the bottom looked like it was repaired with putty. Do not waste your money here.
