Hotel Panorama

I stayed with you overnight on Saturday 26th August. I have stayed before with you, around three years ago. The hotel has deteriorated quite a lot since my last visit. The lift glass is shattered, the pool area has tiles missing and the hotel looks worn and in need of redecoration. The carpet is worn and dirty. I stayed in a room on the first floor and later in the evening I realised the air conditioning in the room was broken/not working. It was one of the hottest days of the year in Croatia and it meant I had a very uncomfortable and unpleasant sleep. Waking up sweating and too hot. I also noticed that there was water underneath the air conditioning unit which meant the carpet was wet around it. In addition to this the hotel had an unpleasant smell of cigarettes and a sewage smell mainly from the toilets. My room was not very clean, the pillow in the bedroom was yellow and smelt unpleasant. There were signs of wear on the walls, fixtures and fittings and it was in need of some repairs. The toilet seems to be constantly running and filling up which is very annoying. You can barely sit on the toilet due to space available next to the sink and it is hard to move around in the shower again due to lack of space. The spotlights next to the bed do not work on either side. I didn’t bother with the breakfast, when I did got down to the breakfast hall all I could see in the corner of the room there were cobwebs and it did not look clean. I do not plan to stay here again until the upgrades are made. In addition to all this, there was a wedding party on Saturday night by the pool and most of the time there was no presence on the hotel reception. Every time I went to make a complaint regarding the air conditioning there wasn’t anyone available for me to speak with. The hotel was full so I doubt I would have had the option to move rooms anyway.

Great hotel just out of the town. Lovely location, views and accommodation.

For everyone visiting this hotel and having dinner here, be aware that it would take you, at least, an hour and a half for completing the dinner, even if there are only two or three tables to be served. I don't know why, but they are really slow at serving food for dinner. Everything else was perfect.

The hotel is good, the view on the sea and Sibenik is stunning however we (4 people, 2 rooms ) did not managed to sleep till 3AM due to the wedding party. I am not complaining about the party - everyone wants to celebrate this event - but is your fault to not have informed us in advance on this. We booked the hotel back in May, you had our emails and phone number and time to contact us. As discussed with the receptionist during the night it was agreed you should have reserved the hotel for such event and block any other booking. We were there with our relatives more than 80 years old to have a rest before returning to home and this did not happened. The only compensation we had is a ridiculous 30% discount just on the room fee. This is not acceptable from a 4 star hotel like you pretend to be.
