Slow to check in, slow to check out. Breakfast was a ripoff at EUR18 with a sad choice of hot food (2 items only) that was repeated several times over each buffet station. Despite the fact that a global telecoms conference was being held on their premises, they clearly were not interested in providing the basics, let alone an above and beyond service. Would I go back? No. Would I recommend to friends? Certainly not. Clearly they were gearing down for the season and quite frankly, its best that they don't bother to reopen...

Overall the holiday was nice, but we soon realised that there were various extra costs & that value for money for guests isn’t a priority. Parking was €10 per day, sun loungers on the beach were €10 per day, both of which felt steep for guests of the hotel. We felt the on site restaurants were overpriced for an average menu. The best value for money was the “Fast Food” restaurant & the service there was very good. Activities, which per the website appear to be part of the booking, are actually extra, eg. the water park & inflatable run. Also the website shows all the pools for all the hotels on the complex - we could only use the pools in the one hotel. We did enjoy the cinema on the beach at night, that was a nice offering (free)!

I have returned from a 9 night stay booked with Jet2 Holidays in the UK. I had been slightly concerned about the trip due to the reviews I’d read but decided to proceed. Please be aware when booking any hotel within the Amadria Park Resort that there are add on charges for everything. For example Cabana Beds at the pool are 30 euros, a little train that runs from one side of the resort to the other is 5 euros, kids face painting at the mini disco is 7 euros and if you want a taxi into Siebenik they call their own mini vans which charge 20 euros as appose to 8-9 euros in an Uber. Overall I think the resort could do better and maybe just up prices overall to include some of the more basic things as standard. We had breakfast included and that was probably the best part. We ate in some of the on-site restaurants but again the food is overpriced and quite bland. Also the on-site supermarket is right at the other side of the complex on the camping site so not easy to access. Croatia is a beautiful country and I would certainly return but sadly not to AP.

The room. The room I would rate 4 stars, with a kettle, minibar, 1 double bed, and a bunk and a bunk bed. There isn't much storage really but we managed fine. It also comes with a safe. And some rooms with Park View a a balcony. In the lobby area, there is a gaming room with 7 PS5s and 2 Nintendo Swiches. (Two of the PS5s have a steering wheel and pedal accessory for racing games. Breakfast is OK, with all of the normal buffet options such as meats, pancakes, honeycomb, cereals, fresh omelette, etc. Amadria Park is a HUGE resort with discos and movie nights. The pools are average, and there are plenty of sunbeds for people to use. There are 6 hotels altogether. There is minigolf, a dalmatian ethno village, Mediterranean city, a water park, lots of pools (you can only use the ones that are for your hotel), and private beaches For the beaches you will need swimshoes, even adults, as there is no sand, just gravel. this is all over Croatia, not just here. There are ridiculous ad ons, for example, breakfast for 1 adult is 20€ each and for kids it is 10€ each. At the waterpark, it is 15€ for a child under 120 cm. 90 cm is free. However, anyone over 120 cm is over 30€. Parking for 24 hrs is 10€ and to get a cabana at the pool (one session) is 30€. Food for vegetarians is basically pasta and pizza and salads.

Good points: Nice clean hotel, good pools. Lots of free sunbeds. Buffet is good. Play station room is great. Friendly staff. Bad points: Extortionate prices for food and drink. For example a small bottle of coke €4,50 / Bottle of house wine €34. Not good if you enjoy watching any kind of sport, for such a big resort you would expect an option. Warning: Water park attached to the hotel is not included, it is €35 per person per day!

We are currently staying at the hotel (Jakov) and the hotel/resort is very clean and family friendly however a few issues are making the holiday less enjoyable; 1) people with cows milk and nut allergies struggle for food. Particularly at the pool bar and at breakfast. (Even ice lollies have milk in so we have had an allergic reaction to deal with) 2) most things are additional cost - loungers on the beach, mini golf, inflatables 3) we paid for a 'park view' but we are overlooking the car park with little privacy when we open our curtains. 4) there is only one shop on the resort which is at the far end in the camping zone making it very difficult to purchase items 5) the price of food and drink is very high. Beer is 3 times the price as it is in the shop We are only on day 2 and struggling with what food to get for our daughter. Granted i should have researched more before travelling however disappointed there isn't more on offer.

We stayed here for a week during English half term in May/June 2023. Some context. We were a family of 5 (2 kids aged 4 and 7, and a grandma). We are well travelled and have stayed in everything from horrific dorms in hostels to 5 star hotels in Dubai. So we have seen most things. Jakov is a decent hotel, and we would recommend to people. It’s 4 star so you don’t get the 5 star touches, but then you also don’t get charged 5 star prices so that’s ok. I’ll try and cover everything we think is important from a hotel… Beds - incredibly comfortable, really very impressive, we all slept soundly. Showers - very powerful and go very hot and very cold regardless of the time of day, again exactly what you are looking for. Rooms - we had 2 interconnecting family rooms and this was the reason we chose this hotel over others. The rooms were great for us. As you walked in there is a large bunk bed on the right with a small cupboard for the kids stuff, the bunk beds had a larger bed on the bottom with a sloped ladder going to the top bunk, opposite this was the connecting doors to the other room. Further down the corridor was a toilet and then the shower room then opening out to the main bedroom. It’s newly designed and the furniture is comfortable and light and airy. My only complaint was the lack of a balcony (we knew this before we arrived) that would have been perfect. AC - Powerful with a good control panel. Other room bits - there is decent storage although as usual never enough, the small fridge had paid for mini bad items in, we simply removed these and put them on a shelf so we could use it as a fridge for drinks and snacks. The TV is affixed to the wall with no additional power so you wouldn’t be able to connect a fire stick to it, but we found a couple of English films on the myriad of channels to watch as we went to sleep at night so all good. Breakfast - we had b&b and the breakfast was fine, but just fine. After 7 days of the same things it got a bit dull. They had an omelette station, some other hot bits, pancakes, waffles some fruit, meats and cheeses and breads and pastries. The coffee was from a self serve machine but was ok. Still have us a feed every morning but can’t say I got excited by it. Pools - the pools were excellent and we could use any of the pools at the other hotels, the ones as Jakov and Andrija were chlorinated water but at Ivan it was salt water. The kids loved the pools and they were designed brilliantly for smaller kids with plenty of shallower areas. There were loads of beds around the pools and very nice cabanas that everyone could use. The pool areas were way better than we expected. Beaches - were nice enough, we didn’t really use them as the kid’s preferred the pools and didn’t love the pebbly beaches. Also, even as hotel guests you had to pay for beds on the beach, which makes no sense. Staff - all friendly enough and helpful when asked without going above and beyond. No complaints from me

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a glass of champagne and colouring sets for the children. Our room was spacious, clean but overlooked an outside wall. The room was cleaned everyday, with fresh towels and beds made. Breakfast was fantastic, with a good hot and cold selection (the kids loved the nutella pancakes). The pool area was great, with plenty of available sun loungers at any time of the day. The bar menu was ok for a quick lunch, but with limited choice of toasties and cakes. The only thing we found disappointing was the cost for the evening buffet - 30 Euros per adult and 15 Euros per child amounted to 90 Euros which was too expensive in our opinion. The children loved the mini disco every night, and the entertainment staff were great. On Sunday evenings there is also a Family disco in the Mediteranean Square with all the dressed up characters and dancers on stage. There are 2 restaurants that we would recommend for lunch/dinner on the resort, Trittora and Bongos however they both serve a very similar menu. We did get bored of the food menu on the resort, and found a larger choice in Sibnik old town that is a 10 minute taxi ride.

We stayed in hotel Jakov for 5 nights. The check in staff were very friendly and gave us a guide to all the beaches and activities we could do. They gave crayons, colouring books, wristbands and Icy water immediately for the kids. My husband and I also got a free glass of Prosecco! We got to our room and was greeted by chocolates and a welcome card. 2 faults about the room: the first one is okay but the layout is unusual. The toilet and small sink is in a different miniature room as the shower and bigger sink. Very strange. The shower room has no lock. The second fault is rather a major one: our room in on a tight corner next to a public corridor. This is room 074. If you are walking down that heavy-use corridor you can see our bedroom through the window. Not great as we usually get changed there. It means we have to close the thick curtains which blocks out all the light. In the morning we sometimes can hear running or stamping along the corridors but that’s ok as it doesn’t wake us. I hear some now but it’s ok. One more complaint but I totally understand why this is not possible. The splash park looks fab but the receptionist only gave us one free ticket for one day. I understand it is very busy but it’s a shame as it looks great. Also only our hotel jakov pool is for use and we can’t use other Amadria hotel pools. Speaking of pools there is no life guard and kids jumping of fake slippy rocks into shallow swimming areas. Not very safe. Apart from that we are very pleased with our stay. Would recommend.
