Excellent place for vacation for entire family. It has all for perfect vacation. I was in september this year but also previously and always was at highest level. Everything is briliant. It has new aquapark for children and inside that big spa for adults. I will recomend this to all my friends.

Absolutely brilliant place to stay if you want a nice and relaxing family holiday. Perfect location as it is on a resort site with plenty of activities to do as well as a little super market and food establishments scattered across the resort. Short walk to the beach and pool as well as the big waterpark which was fantastic. Great facilities and plenty of things To do. Highly recommend.

Great rooms, friendly staff, excellent outside pool area but VERY disapointing food. Specially at dinner time. We have 3 kids and one is a very picky eater so we are very used to the need to figure out what we can do to make life easyer for her but on this vacation all 3 dont like the food...and we parents arent impressed either. We are staying here right now, we are 4 nights in and have 5 more to go and we basicly have decided to go out to dinner for the rest of the trip to boost morale. We have given up. The kids dont even like the margarita pizza... For the price we are paying I expected a lot more.

Our stay at this hotel was perfect in every way. The hotel is beautiful and impeccably clean, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff was incredibly kind, always smiling, helpful, and attentive. We were especially touched when they surprised our son for his birthday – such a thoughtful gesture! The food was also excellent – both breakfast and dinner were varied and delicious, with plenty of options for every taste. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be coming back!

We stayed here at the end of August and it was fabulous! The hotel is lovely and the rooms are very clean, fresh and modern. Pillows and beds are so comfortable and shower amazing! The pool area was lovely. Always loads of available sun beds and towels available. The kids absolutely loved spending the day in the pool. Breakfast was amazing with something for everyone. Waffles with pistachio cream?? Count me in! The kids were very very happy with the options, as were the adults. Hotel staff all very friendly. The people on reception were all very helpful and knowledgeable. No complaints. The kids loved the games room! There are loungers on the beach that you have to pay for. We didn’t pay. We set up in the shade of the trees, which was absolutely fine. The water is crystal clear! Very beautiful. We played the mini golf 3 times and the kids loved it. Yes, it’s an additional cost and probably quite a lot but we enjoyed it. We ate out along the strip - Trattoria, Bongos, Tapas - the food was very very good. Same prices as back home so wasn’t really bothered. The price of the hotel is extremely reasonable so even adding food in top it was cheaper than most other places. We got a taxi into Šibenik, which is a lovely little town to visit and spend some time. The views from the top are breathtaking. Also got a taxi to Krka National Park! Reception recommended the entrance where you get a boat ride down to the waterfall included in the entry price. It’s slightly further and more in the taxi but 100% worth it. A must visit!!!! We caught the little train one day that runs up and down the strip. Not the cheapest but the kids loved it. We also went to the water park next door. Was a great way to spend the day and the kids had a great time. We only took part in a couple of the art activities for the kids. They also did the cocktail making and the pizza making. This was one of the highlights of their holiday! All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel for families. We had a lovely time and would definitely consider a return trip!

Currently staying here and mixed opinions on this place. Having stayed in other parts of croatia we wanted to explore somewhere new. Sibinek is a beautiful mix of old town and modern infrastructure. The sea front is qutisentially Croatian and has plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and some lovely little holiday shops. The hotel is part of a chain of hotels all along the same stretch, each one catered for a slightly different audience. We chose junek as ots advertised for the older child (ours is 11). Pros. Clean, bright, good rooms with a fab layout for older kids who need a bit of their own space. Fab staff and everyone friendly. Very laid back so much so everything closes at 10 so no rowdy groups drinking at the bar until the small hours. Or ridiculously loud music into the night. A stunning walk along the coastal path, and everything that you could need for an activity filled holiday. However everything is soooooooooo expensive. Once you are in the hotels complex every restaurant is run by the hotel. Drinks .... a bottle of mineral water 5 euro, mini burger and chips from the pool bar. 15 euros. Want and evening meal in the onsite buffet restaurant 100 euros for 3 people. And not even one drink included. Want milk for the tea and coffee in the room. No chance without paying.. basically you need for a family of 3 a budget of at least 300 a day. If you are room only. Mini golf. Thats 20 euros. But the biggest take the mic moment of all. On all holiday sites you are led to believe the water park is included. Think again. That'll be another 105 euro for 3 people. You simply can not eat or drink without paying the hotels over inflated privates unless you get a bus into sibenik or a 15 euro taxi Lovely place but extremly over priced

Lovely clean hotel and most of the staff were friendly (restaurant/cleaners/ maintenance and porters) however one member of management was quite rude and unhelpful. And we witnessed this with other visitors also. Also spoke to other staff members in front of you knowing we didn’t understand what they were saying. There is no evening entertainment for adults you have to go to another area. You are not allowed to use all the pools which is what they make you believe when you book to stay in the park. You have to pay for sun loungers on the beach. The aqua park is good fun for a few hours. The national park trips are good but we spent most of our time travelling there, then in the park. If visiting the old town (which is lovely) make sure you have cash as many places don’t take card. Croatia is beautiful and a lovely place to visit but I don’t think I’d revisit this resort.

I spend 5 days with my family in this beautiful resort, in Hotel Jakov spesifically. Everything from food, beaches and resort facilities was really nice. We enjoy our time here alot, especially kids, because resort has many daily and nightly activites for youngsters. But I have some problems with reception and bar managers. Maryna in reception sometimes is very rude and unprofesional. I see her treat younger coworkers bad in front of guests, and she was also very dismissive and rude to me and my wife when we ask for late check out. One time she was yelling at a young receptionist almost 5 minutes, nobody helping her, guests in lobby waiting, and girl looked very worried and upset. Similar thing I see in bar, manager Frain also rude to staff. It is really shame because managers should be careful how they speak, especially in front of guests. Often I see their staff almost crying after, very sad to see for such nice hotel. Overall hotel, resort, beaches, food very nice, but managers behavior is big problem and really spoil impresion.

We had an amazing three day break at Hotel Jakov. It is not our first visit to your hotel, we have been your guests for six years, but this time there was an additional touch to the whole experience. At the check-in we received a very warm welcome by the receptionist Dajana, who also was there at our check-out. We would like to praise her exceptional professionalism, warmth and kindness. At the dinner time we were surprised by a birthday cake for our 10 year old son. Itzel organized it perfectly. The next day, another surprise was waiting for our son in our room. A gift was waiting for him, including a voucher for Mini golf. Itzel did a great job, flawless. Everything was perfect starting from welcome time, the treatment that we got at the pools, food offer for dinner and breakfast, Aquapark facilities, gifts etc. Dear Hotel Jakov staff we look foward to spending our next summer vacation with you.

Nice, kid friendly hotel. Staff is lovely, rooms and common spaces are clean and great looking. There is a large playground for the kids, great entertainment through out the day for the kids with kids club, play room and game room. Pool is ok. We had the full board, would not recommend. The breakfast and dinner buffet have a lot of options but the lunch buffet did not, mostly fried stuff. Only drinks included are, as also stated by the hotel, soft drinks aka 4 types of juices and water from tap. There was not enough taps which resulted in a lot of queuing to get drinks. Coffee only available at breakfast, no butter available at lunch (!). Overall a nice hotell that is family friendly, but don’t have too high expectations on food and drinks.

From the moment they welcomed us at the reception desk until our last moment, the staff at Hotel Jakob went above and beyond to help us. Marina was so welcoming. Also Eldar and Matea were immensely helpful when I lost my wallet and thought I had left it in my room. They allowed me to go back to the room and look for it. When it wasn't there they let me go through all of my things in the lobby genuinely concerned. One employee even said he prayed for me. When I found it everyone rejoiced with me. I felt seen and cared for. Also, the rooms are perfect for families.

A great hotel but with one major letdown! Spacious, clean interiors and decor. Space for kids to run around...we had a 9 and 11 year old and any kids activity was based around smaller children in the hotel next door which you can use. The games rooms with PS5s were good. Food was varied and good at the buffet. A few negatives and suggestions for improvement... 1. The buffet food was often cold as hotplates were not warm enough to keep food warm and a lot of food was batch Cooked rather than freshly cooked in small batches as and when food started to run low...lots of chefs behind the counter not doing much.. chips and pancakes etc were cold . Easily remedied if the chefs just cook less more often 2. Kids club next door list activities happening but these do not really happen and no organised sports i.e archery, bowls etc. this would be good for slightly older kids plus animation team was really nowhere to be seen part from sitting in the kids room, I suggest they need to be more proactive and get out around the pool area. 3. Lastly and the major complaint....very strong smell of smoking in lobby near lift area. Supposedly it is illegal to smoke inside a hotel. I know what smoking smells like and this was not just someone smelling of smoke on their clothes but actual strong smoke. With all the effort the hotel goes to to present itself as clean (which they do well) this is a major letdown! This smell occured at least 3-4 times. On the final time it was strongest and I followed the smell and it was from a service area/ door behind the lifts which supposedly the staff use for entrance to hotel etc.... the smell was very strong and if they weren't actually smoking in the hotel, staff were definitely smoking right by the entrance allowing the draft through the open door take the acrid smell into the lobby. I complained to the duty manager about this and she got very defensive saying it was illegal to smoke in hotel and that no one was smoking but I can 100% assure you that they were. I hope the general manager can address this as it really places a black mark against an otherwise very clean hotel.

Amadria Park is a large resort with multiple hotels (including Jakov) and a camping site etc. Eerie empty this time as season with perhaps 5 kids families. Accommodates large groups and conferences to generate out of season business. Hints: Do not book suites as they are all overlooking (noisy) aqua park with limited sea view and less than ideal layout. 5 stars given exclusively for reasons of the employees - some young and inexperienced but all went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A few hickups were managed via free upgrades and vouchers to the benefit of both guests and hotel. Contact hotel direct via email. Default pricing via website out of season much too high. Final hint: Rent a boat (150-160€/day) within the resort and go across the strait to the island Zlarin and anchor up in one of the many beautiful little bays on the south-eastern part of the island. Also possible to sail into old part Sibenik etc.

Welcome: When we arrived, we had to wait at least 45 minutes until we could check in. After a long journey(with two small hungry children), we did not need an extensive check in and therefore I think we did not have a good idea of what facilities were available. Breakfast Waiting times: -You have to fight for a table, even during times when it was indicated it would be quiet. -At one times, 3 of the 4 coffee machines were out of order. -A long queue for ‘lemonade’? No fresh juice, or, say, fresh mint or ginger for tea. -We missed out on scrambled eggs and croissants. Of course, some items may run out, however, these are the essentials of a breakfast should be available at all times. Especially since when you lose your spot from the row you have to start from the beginning again. Assortment: -Little to no variety except the fruit which was very good. Breakfast general: -We tried our best to say good morning to staff behind the buffets however we were not given a glimpse.We feel it is important to pass on to our children that you should treat someone with respect at all times but especially in the case of employees who work hard to provide service. -We saw many guests shoving pancakes, yoghurt drinks and fruit in their bags to be eaten by the pool in the afternoon. -We saw a manager making a couple of waitresses very inappropriately put them to work. -During breakfast, plates or bowls were not taken out so many tables were very messy. -Lots of unnecessary disposables being used. Bar: Also long queues and I wanted to thank the lady behind the pool bar for the drinks made. I didn't get the chance to do that, I found this really rude. The drinks were firmly at the price. Which is fine when served in a luxurious manner. However, there was no consistency in the drinks served, one time a lot the other time little, then in a glass and then from a plastic cup. Tap water that was offered was also empty at many times. Swimming pool: We found it very disappointing that there was not 1 slide present. Of course in the water park which as a hotel guest you don't even have access to there were many. But the website gives you the impression that there are plenty of opportunities to slide which is not so. In the small pool, I fell down because it was extremely slippery, leaving a bruise on my leg. I later saw others slip here too. One day, we arrived at the pool at 4:30 PM and were informed that there were no towels available. When I inquired if there might be towels at the other hotel, I was told to "try and see." I was quite frustrated, as this does not seem very service-oriented. I asked to speak with the manager, but their whereabouts were unknown. Additionally, many of the towels provided had yellow stains and/or holes. While there were plenty of sunbeds, there were far from enough umbrellas (many of which were also damaged) or shaded areas. Many guests place their towels down before breakfast, so if you arrive at the pool around 11 AM, you're left withou
