Amara Family Resort

We are currently relaxing at the hotel, so we immediately decided to share our impressions. Last year we vacationed in the same chain in Kemer (Amara Premier), there is something to compare with. Alas, this hotel turned out to be more expensive and worse. Positives: -Polite and responsive staff, trying to do everything possible to solve problems, even if there is no resource for this. - delicious varied cuisine, Turkish delight is not very sweet and fresh. There are no flies, the vegetables are fresh, there is always fish, meat and a diet plan for those who have been poisoned))) - additional service (trips, spa, photos) is unobtrusive and does not bother you, but still continues to communicate politely. - Convenient place for families with children. The slides for children and adults are located nearby, which allows parents to keep a good eye on everyone, but the water in the children's pool with slides is very cold. Due to the small size of the territory, all the children play in the same place in the evening, get to know each other and you can sit next to a cocktail or tea, listen to music and watch the children. - Children's animation is good, there are separate children's tables and cartoons in the dining room so that parents can eat in peace. - The windows in the rooms are well soundproofed; our windows overlook the main evening clearing, where there are concerts, music and entertainment. And my child could easily go to bed early and it didn’t bother him. - The area is well maintained and clean, no litter. There are refrigerators with water everywhere. And there are many places where you can eat throughout the day. - The sea is good, sand, despite a small ***** of stones, entry into the sea is good. - There are shops and a pharmacy on the territory, they advised us there to take medications that quickly helped the baby. Negatives: - There is no work with the client when booking. They wrote for additional information through booking and so direct messages - silence, nothing to clarify, nothing additional to book. - Everything you asked for when booking and then at the reception upon arrival. They promised to promise, but did nothing. We are relaxing with a friend and child. It was important to have three separate sleeping places, they warned us in advance, but it’s already day 6 and the issue has not been resolved. You have to sleep with the child, in the end it’s a vacation, but getting enough sleep is not an option. - The dishes in the dining room and the glasses in the bars are all stained, it feels like they don’t have time to wash them properly. - A separate story with cleaning the room, I don’t know what this is connected with, but it feels like the problem is in the management. They asked to clean the room, the child was sick with rotavirus, it is also not clear where he caught it, but judging by the problems, there is a pool after swimming in which children have an intestinal infection. Hey everyone first of all I want to thank all the amara family hotel family it was an awesome holiday with my family , food , drinks , rooms , and hotel was brilliant but special thanks to entertainment team with there daily activities and night show programs it was perfect we will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends to come visit see you all again hopefully ,,

That was a great holiday. Entertainment Programm was good for childeren and adulds. The mini club is amazing good located and close to the pool We will be back in summer this time whit more couples and Friedrich. Thank you very much..........

We just came back from vacation, so I want to tell my impressions of the hotel. We had a Standard room in the main building. Size of the room, bathroom and terrace, comfort of the bed: 10. Hygiene: 9. Maids were (not)coming- in accordance to our instructions. We had a small problem with water leaking from the shower cabin, but the maids solved it in a timely manner. It wasn't an issue for us. Food: 10. Huge selection of dishes, everything is fresh, delicious. It's interesting that the staff does not serve the guests but only cleans and prepares the tables. It took us all day to figure it out, but it's not a problem at all, just an organization thing. Entertainment: 10. The hotel is a great place for a family stay. Various sports activities are organized during the day (water polo, volleyball, picado, bocce, aquabike...) and various performances (music, dance...) in the evening. For children, swimming pools and slides for all ages are available. There is a children's club that is open until 5 pm and in the evening they have music, dancing, reward ceremony, etc. Praise to the animation team, especially Mr. Erhan. It's amazing how he entertains the children, runs the program, and at the same time constantly takes care of their safety. He also manages to activate adults with his team, unobtrusively, but enough funny to make everyone want to join the game. He is also , literally, the only person who has good knowledge of English, Russian and a little bit of German. Staff 9: The biggest and actually the only downside of the hotel is that the staff doesn't speak English at all. They don't even understand it enough to even pantomime to explain something. I mean the reception, the restaurant staff, the maids, and most of the animators. There were situations where the girl in the restaurant literally ignored our question and walked away... at the reception, every time we tried to speek in english, the girl called a guy who understood us. Very problematic. I would like to mention that the main member of the animation team, Mr. Erhan, speaks excellent English and he is actually the only one from whom we could hear some current information. The man has all the capacity to be some sort of hotel manager. On the other hand, I have to praise the kindness, meticulousness, dedication of all the people, which can be seen from the way the food is prepared and served, to the way the boys clean the pool area. People are honest and hardworking. I saw that the pool maintenance guy left forgotten (expensive) glasses where the owner could easily spot them. I can't imagine that in most European countries. Beach: 9 With fine gravel-sand, nice shallow, small waves, excellent entry into the water for children. The water is clean. The beach bar has everything you need. You can play volleyball almost all day. The only downside to the beach is the lack of showers. As far as I have noticed, the neighboring beaches have a shower, and this hotel only has a fountain for washing you

I cannot express enough how utterly disappointing and appalling our experience was at Amara Family Resort. Our six-night stay in September 2023 was nothing short of a horror story. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything went wrong, and I would strongly advise against staying at this resort. Upon arrival, it was evident that guest comfort wasn't a priority for the staff. Despite the check-in time being 2 PM, we weren't allocated a room until 5 PM, after a prolonged and frustrating discussion with the reception. Furthermore, our assigned standard rooms on the second floor lacked elevator access, forcing us to haul our luggage up the stairs. This was far from the relaxing start we had hoped for. The rooms themselves were disappointing – they smelled of smoke, overlooked a cluttered backyard, and were in dire need of maintenance. The beds were uncomfortable, the rooms were unkempt, and the bathrooms left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness. It took considerable effort to persuade the staff to acknowledge these issues and relocate us to a different room, which wasn't what we initially booked. Even in our new room, the malfunctioning air conditioning left us sweltering in the oppressive heat. Despite repeated complaints, the staff remained unresponsive and failed to address the issue. Our troubles only escalated as each day passed. The following day, we encountered a dirty towel stained with makeup in the bathroom, indicating subpar cleaning standards. While the breakfast offered a decent selection of food, the cleanliness of the plates and glasses left much to be desired. Housekeeping also fell short of expectations, with their definition of "cleaning" being rather lax. To compound matters, a member of the cleaning staff accused us of misplacing one of their eyeglasses and proceeded to search our belongings without our consent. While we obliged to assist, we later discovered that they had revisited our room and searched our belongings in our absence. The climax of our ordeal occurred on the third day when our family fell ill with food poisoning. While we suspected it was due to the hotel's hygiene standards, we cannot definitively attribute it to them. Despite our pleas for assistance, the staff declined to summon medical help. I took matters into my own hands and called for an ambulance, spending two nights in the hospital with my family. When I finally managed to speak with the manager, his response was dismissive and unprofessional. He showed little concern for our predicament and insinuated that our issues were insignificant. To exacerbate matters, when my wife and brother fell ill again the following day, the hotel staff's response was unhelpful and even threatening. Rather than providing assistance or empathy, they threatened to involve the authorities. In short, our stay at Amara Family Resort was a nightmare, and I would strongly advise against choosing this resort for your accommodation. Proceed with caution

This is the best resort I have ever been to! The hotel is amazing, the rooms are so good and clean and the beds are so comfortable. There are 4 pools and also a kids pool. There are a lot of delicious different food options, basically there is food for every kind of organism. There are different fun pool games during the day and amazing shows at night. The staff and also the entertainers (Guler, Enes, Serdar, Saba, Samet) are THE BEST, they are so kind and friendly, they make you feel special and comfortable and have lots of fun. I will never forget this experience, thank you Amara!

Otel muhteşemdi her alanda çok iyiydi herkesin gelmesini tavsiye ederim. Animatörler çok iyiydi aktiviteler havuzlar.yemekler,içecekler temizlik İtalyan restorantı çok iyiydi. Animasyon aktiviteleri harika akşam showları mükemmel animasyon ekibinden mehmete teşekkürler ilgisinden dolayı

Twice a year I visit Antalya , Each time go to different Hotels and I have never had such a BAD experience . This hotel has the worst room I have ever seen . I got standart room in a main building, this one was more expensive than the other building, but room was so small you cant even move. it doesn’t have wardrobe, shelfves, beds are terrible , one mattress was soft and other was like a stone( and I mean it) . And what is even worse- balcony , there is no sun ,no light coming from anywere,even air doesnt move. We couldn’t dry anything and have to wear same wet swimsuits :( I am in this hotel at the moment, tried to ask in reception to change room even if i had to add money and they did nothing,answer was this is standat room and we dont have other options as the hotel is full.I think they didnt even care. beside the room , hotel itself is nice , food is very good. If I didnt had such an terrible room and bed that hurts my back so much , I think I would had wonderful experience as the entertainment is good for adults and children.
