Although we've visited Turkey many times, this was our first everstay in an all-inclusive hotel, and to be honest, after reading some of the reviews here, we were a little concerned about what to expect. Firstly, if you have difficulty walking, this may not be the hotel for you as getting from one end of the hotel to the other requires negotiating several flights of stairs. The hotel consists of a main building and several other accommodation buildings. Initially, we were given a ground floor room in one of the buildings away from the main building. However, as we had requested a sea view and the only view we had was of one of the 3 pools, we asked at reception to be moved to a different room. They were absolutely fine with that, and within about half an hour, we were moved to a lovely room in the main building with a sea view, a good-sized bathroom with a large shower area and a king sized bed albeit with quite a hard mattress. The room was cleaned every day, and if you needed fresh towels, all you had to was put the used ones on the bathroom floor. Also, there was a card you could place on the bed if you wanted fresh bed linen. We thought that the food at this hotel was really good. No, it's not full English or Sunday roast, but rather has more of a Turkish feel to it. A big choice of mezes and salads plus hot food such as fish, chicken, rice, vegetables, cakes and baklava etc and all very plentiful. Breakfast was of the usual continental style with eggs, cheeses, cold meats, salad, bread, cereals, and the like. We certainly never went hungry. The drinks were OK but in our opinion not very alcoholic. The cocktails were very weak, and the beer tasted as if it had probably been watered down. The wine was OK but not the best quality. The hotel has its own beach, which was among the many hotel beaches on the main *****. We went there a couple of times but preferred a small beach we found in the old town (about 30 minutes walk), which was a lot quieter. We had no issues with the staff of the hotel they all seemed to be most pleasant. Not all of them spoke English, but we were able to make ourselves understand. There were mostly Germans staying at the hotel when we were there, but again, we had no problems with them at all. All told we feel that for what we paid for this holiday, we had great value for money and had a really pleasant stay.

First room given was no bigger than a single, second no better 3rd room better as looked similar to the photos advertised. beds terrible as could feel the springs so spent the stay with a bad back . Most unhelpful reception staff, food terrible, always cold, even at the start of service very little choice, same nearly every day, turkey turkey and more turkey, they had a Turkish night with a big kebab to be carved, unfortunately it was still raw when he was cutting so declined it and told him it was raw, but carried on serving, what people did get amounted to no more than a tablespoon, unless you were German!! Boiled egg for breakfast was raw when cracked, coffee disgusting. You were lucky to be even offered a drink at mealtimes, unless you were German then you got everything you wanted. Without having to ask. Only one drink at mealtimes if you were lucky. Some of the rooms are not in the actual hotel, there’s no lifts so be prepared for a long walk and up stairs. Location not too bad all in all, beach half decent with plenty of beds and around the pools plenty of beds. Alcohol is in miniature bottles, only have one at a time, not allowed a double. No afternoon snacks, only tasteless cakes, most definitely not a 4 star, 2 star maximum

It’s my third time back at this hotel this year I cannot fault it the staff including the cleaners were brilliant rooms got cleaned daily All the staff who work at the reception was very helpful. the restaurant on the top floor looking out to the Mediterranean absolutely breathtaking you had plenty to choose from Cold/hot meals. The pool areas was washed down daily. The pool bar staff was always helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. If you’re looking for a adult only hotel I would definitely recommend side su. Also a big thank you to the manager Gokay Guley always had a smile on his face also spoke good English.

I spent great week at the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. After check in employee from the reception took me to my room, he showed me everything and even logged my phone into wifi (which works excellent in every place at hotel). Room was clean and nice, cleaned daily, and I had see view, what was really nice surprise, because I booked economic room. The meals were really good, there was plenty of choice of cold and hot food. Only one time there was less food at the end of the meal time, still I could choose something delicious. Pools are clean and there are enough sunbeds. Drinks at the bar are delicious, barman can make it stronger/sweeter etc if requested. There is not much animation, but I didnt need it. Hotel guests were mostly from Germany, Poland, Turkey. I also met people from Holland, Norway, Russia. Every staff member is super friendly, I specially liked Sam from animation, manager Ali, barman Huseyin and Hicabi (I hope I wrote the name correctly). You guys made my vacations unforgettable.

A very nice adult only hotel. Was made to feel very welcome on arrival by management. Room was very pleasant and hotel and grounds are very clean and well maintained. Roof top restaurant is beautiful and food was always very good. All inclusive cocktails was also a nice touch. A short walk from the beach where the hotel has its own private area which again is well maintained.

I cannot believe the last reviewer stayed in the same hotel as us! We too started our 2 wk holiday with a private transfer arranged by the hotel. The driver messaged us before we left England so we had his number and was waiting exactly where we expected him to be. Our room was brilliant, a good size with a corner balcony and side sew view, exactly as we booked. The air conditioning was very efficient in extremely high temperatures. The room was cleaned every day and towels and sheets changed regularly, indeed in the case of the towels, every day. The hotel does have a number of steps but this is clear before booking if hotel info / photos are considered and reviews read. Yes, English people were in a minority but we had some lovely conversations with fellow guests who were mainly Dutch, German or Polish. The roof top restaurant has the most amazing views and the drinks service and food were brilliant. There was a massive variety of food but, as Turkey is a Muslim country, bacon wasn’t on the menu! Who needed it with the beautifully prepared and displayed selection on offer! Every lunch and evening there is a fantastic selection of hot food and a massive variety of beautiful salads and vegetables and every evening the menu is supplemented by a roof top BBQ. The swimming pools were the cleanest we’ve ever swum in and there was always sunbeds to be had, both around the pools and on the hotel beach, a five minute stroll away. The staff of this hotel work tirelessly to ensure everything is perfect for their guests. The cleaning and gardening/ maintenance team were constantly to be seen working hard but always with a friendly smile. The bars were always well staffed and the drinks were definitely NOT, as other reviewers have stated, watered down. The restaurant team were so friendly and efficient with drinks and clearing tables and we are very grateful to all the staff who obviously enjoyed working as part of the Side Su team for making our holiday one of the best we’ve had! The management team were very approachable and were regularly seen around the hotel and, indeed, I had a lovely morning chat with the finance manager Kabir about the downright incorrect information given in other reviews. In my opinion, if you greet people with a friendly smile and hello and you do not have unrealistic ideas of what you should get for the amount of money you pay, you cannot beat the Side Su! In life, you reap what you sow! Read the reviews, google earth the beautiful old town and choose your room style carefully and you’ll not be disappointed! Christine and David

Honest review. Arrived at Antalya Airport and couldn't find private transfer. About 50 guys holding up signs. After 30mins located the driver. Very pleasant guy. Stopped half way to accommodation. Journey took around 1 and half hours. Once at hotel quickly checked in and helped by worker to our room. The room was extremely small. No balcony and looking out onto an outside gym. Layout was taken up mostly by bed. Bed uncomfortable Next day complained and asked to be moved. Given a bigger room at a cost. The food in this hotel is basically the same every day. No bacon, sctambled eggs, beans etc. I ate boiled eggs every morning. During stay never met another english speaking guest. Place full of ignorant folk jumping in front of you. Food at lunch and dinner same every day. Long walk to reach lift that takes you to restuarant 2 very small lifts that are like a sauna. Again folk see u standing in a queue which doesn't seem to matter barge their way to the front. The pool areas i cant fault plenty sun loungers. I wouldn't rate this hotel as 4 star 2 star more realistic. All in all wouldnt return.
