Amansara

Hidden away from the world, the overall hotel was very good. There were plenty of staff, and the room was cleaned quickly, thoroughly, and efficiently. The room facilities were nice, but nothing particularly surprising. A few steps were slightly inconvenient, but the motion-sensor lights at night were a great safety feature, much better than similar staircase designs in many Japanese hotels. The laundry service was very convenient. Breakfast was excellent, and the service was superb. Ramon (not sure if I spelled it correctly) was incredibly attentive, making us feel right at home. Dinner was relatively bland, with only average service. The desserts were good, but the Cambodian cuisine wasn't as impressive as that of the Raffles Hotel in Phnom Penh. The travel arrangements were thoughtful; there was always ice water and towels available, and the tuk-tuk was convenient and rainproof. The car that took us to other hotels was interesting and retro, and the journey was short. I don't understand why they didn't arrange airport pickup; it would have made the experience much better.

Our first Aman experience, a six-night stay, was truly exceptional in every way. The professional and meticulous service, customized arrangements, the perfect sense of proportion, and the warm and personal interactions were truly captivating. Everything about this place is truly calming. This was our first time traveling to Cambodia, and beyond the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat, Aman truly made us feel at home. Thank you! I hope you maintain this sense of peace!
