Hotels in Siem Reap Downtown, Siem Reap

This has nothing to do with the staff; they were all great. But this is honestly the most uncomfortable hostel I've stayed in recently. As soon as I walked in, I saw clutter and bags everywhere on the floor, along with dirty clothes and smelly socks, giving off a terrible odor. My roommates weren't around during the day, but they'd come back at 3 or 4 AM, making a lot of noise. In the morning, some would even play videos loudly on their phones without headphones. The worst part is the room had no windows, and I seriously felt like I was running out of oxygen while sleeping at night, which was very unpleasant. Laundry was also a bit too expensive at $3.3 for 1.5kg, and even after washing, my clothes still smelled of sweat. The location, however, is excellent, very central and close to everything, and the staff were very friendly.

If you’re looking for a location, that’s quiet but still close to all the good stuff. This is it. The buffet breakfast isn’t the best but it’s a long shot from the worst. Staff is friendly and is very helpful if needed. In order to get a late check out I had to talk to them for a while, but in the end they gave it to me. If I were to come back to the area, definitely stay at the same hotel.

Uncle Sam Villa was not only reasonably priced but also very clean with all the necessary amenities ( including air-conditioning, coffee and tea, a TV). The size of the room was good and the decoration, even though it was minimalistic, suited the place. I particularly liked the painting on the wall of the lake and the brief description. The people working there are helpful, polite and friendly. Its location is ideal since it's near the riverside, the markets and many cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was tasty; we could decide between omelette, fried eggs, scrambled eggs and crepes. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Had a great stay. Service was great and location is quite convenient — Walking distance to shops and Pub Street. Cafes can be found nearby too. And only a block away to Koí The, my go-to mill tea store from back home (was surprised to find it in Siem reap.) I was also able to enjoy the the pool and gym ( simple equipments only ) Only issue I had was with the roim AC, it was cold enough for my liking despite having switched the temp to the lowest temp possible. I just didn't bother reaching out to the staff as I couldn't be bothered to lug my things again just in case they'd offer another ( if they even would.) So make sure to check before you unpack all your things. Overall, everything went well, no other complaints.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and pleasant. Luna was charming – she greeted me by name every time. The hotel's location is perfect; everything is within walking distance – supermarkets, Pub Street, massage parlors, and a park with bats. The cleaning service was excellent. They provide two room key cards, so you can leave one in the room to keep the electricity on and charge your devices. The pool has long operating hours, and the water is warm and clean. The only downside was the Wi-Fi speed. The router was near the door, but it wasn't fast enough for streaming videos.

Perfectly located in town, just steps from Olive, New Leaves, and Brother Noodle—my go-to comfort food spots. Everything is walkable: Pub Street, the riverside, and nearby spas are all just a short stroll away. The staff are warm and friendly, always happy to help with travel arrangements and tips along the way.

Great location and service was excellent. Some rooms are facing a school next door, so there is quite some noise from pupils. Breakfast wasn't buffet per se, but selection of menu items. But one can order as much as one likes. So it's like all you can eat.

The hotel is located along the Siem Reap River. The staff are very friendly. It is about a 5-minute walk from Pub Street and the Old Market, so it is easy to get around. The room was clean, and the shower booth and toilet were separated by glass, so the bottom of the toilet did not get wet. Wi-Fi was available in the room. There was no outlet for charging the mobile phone around the bed, only in the bathroom, so it was a bit of a minus point. The room had a balcony, so an ashtray was provided and I could smoke. There was a sign saying that smoking in the room was a $50 fine. The front desk arranged a tuk-tuk to Angkor Wat, but the driver was wearing a uniform from the affiliated hotel and was very kind and did not ask for a tip. I asked them to arrange an official shuttle bus to the new airport, but they have their own shuttle bus network and took me to the airport. I'm glad I didn't buy a round-trip ticket for the official shuttle bus because it was so cheap. It's not the hotel's fault, but there was a power outage for about an hour every day across the entire block. A cell phone is fine, but I recommend keeping a flashlight on hand. It's also a sophisticated thing in Cambodia.
