Hotels near Preah Ko in Siem Reap

Overall a very nice hotel. The hotel's service staff is warm, courteous, and simple, hoping to provide guests with satisfactory service. The hotel is located a little far from the city, and it provides city shuttle service and airport shuttle service. Dinner on the waterfront platform by the lake is a good treat. The starry sky and frogs make people relaxed and happy. If you want to experience the rustic country life, you can stay for a few days.

A friend had booked a room for me in this hotel for four nights. I was on the ground floor, and was very happy with the room. Air conditioning worked well, and although I was close to the reception area, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable A large double bed and some oversized furniture is used to furnish the room. Cambodian furniture is massive, a cherry red color and practically speaking, immovable. Had NO problems with the internet and had a good nights sleep. Outside the hotel are tuk tuks - dedicated to the hotel - ready to whisk away any visitor to any part of the city one chooses to vist. The drivers do speak English. Breakfast is served on the roof of the hotel, and for a vegetarian the selection was adequate - barely. Cost of the buffet is USD 5.00 Alongside the rooftop breakfast room (terrace) there is a small swimming pool, more suited to those who wish to cool off, rather than those hoping to swim laps. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel. A couple of major markets are within walking distance. Vit KIng restaurant (exclusively vegetarian) IS close by, but the selection is pretty limited unfortunately. Siem Reap is a nice town, well worth spending a few days in. Pretty much wherever one would want to go (with the exception of some attractions like Angkor Wat), is within walking street - the entertainment hub, and tourist market - Pub Street is nearby. If staying more than a night, ask for a discounted rate. The reception desk staff are helpful and well informed.

Stayed in the Angkor wing Deluxe King room for six nites. Check-in was poolside (excellent), Room is nice but light switches took a while to figure out, Bathroom is nice but towel hooks can be better placed. We had to ask for room slippers and cotton wool/buds. Breakfast was good, and was the food in the Kroya restaurant. Service staff all very friendly and accommodating. My two dissatisfactions were mozzies (even in the restaurant and rooms, even though my balcony door was never opened), and the village volleyball courts (3 courts in total I believe) where locals play early/late and they are loud. Oh, on rainy nights, the crickets and frogs are very very loud (hotel room doors seem to let thru all the outside noise). Also took me to get used to the buddha pic right above the bed (it stares down on you as u sleep).

A wonderful boutique resort located an easy 10 minute tuk tuk ride from the centre of Siem Reap. Our suite was extra spacious comprising of comfortable sitting / sleeping areas separated by a slated timber screen. The wardrobe and large bathroom were at the back of the room with again good separation. Lovely decor and being a new resort in perfect condition throughout. The king size bed was so comfy and we much appreciated the kettle, tea & coffee and the water which was replenished daily. Our balcony was spacious and overlooked the gorgeous gardens and pool, as did most suites (request a suite with best possible pool view when booking). The pool was fabulous and larger than expected- beautifully maintained and so refreshing to take a dip in the searing heat. Plenty of pool lounges and I imagine a short supply of lounges would be a rarity even during periods of high occupancy. The tropical gardens were lush and so pretty and there was such a lovely ambiance and sense of calm throughout the resort. Breakfast was al a carte and dining by the pool each morning was so pleasurable and we always looked forward to our morning cappuccino made with love by the gorgeous Saphor (??). Our rate included a Khmer lunch or dinner which we opted to take as a lunch on our final day before heading to the airport. Unfortunately we were time poor and had to totally rush through the meal (thank you Saphor and chefs for making this happen) which was truly delicious and a dining by the pool was a lovely way to end a wonderful 5 night stay at Angkor Privilege. Our rate included a 60 minute massage for 2 and my partner proclaimed his as the best ever. I’ve experienced many a massage in Asia and this one didn’t disappoint although candles, an oil burner, spa music would further enhance the experience. I chose this property on the basis it was around 10 minutes from the city centre and not once regretted this decision. We did 3 days of tours with our chosen operators including pick up and drop off from the resort. We did a 2 day temple tour and were last to be picked up and first to be dropped off which was a bonus. From 5pm Angkor Privilege provides a comp tuk tuk ride to the city centre for guests and as tourist numbers were down our driver was always happy to hang around and take us back to the resort a couple of hours later costing us U$4.00 a pop. And finally to the beautiful team at Angkor Privilege. So friendly and accommodating and such an asset to this wonderful property. Thank you to Saphor, Mary and the rest of the amazing team for your warm hospitality. We wish you nothing but the best in this very difficult time and hope the resort along with all members of the team will be back up and running sooner rather than later. While staying at Metta residence my Husband enjoyed a nine night stay. The breakfast buffet was consistent each morning and lucky served us each day with a smile and fresh hot coffee. The rooms were clean daily and very spacious. The front desk was always hopeful. It was a bit moist at times. Tuk Tuk driver called Kimsun was extremely helpful and very generous, many evenings, he drove us around without asking for anything extra, which gave us a reason to provide him with a great tip. I do recommend this hotel for couples and families. The pool is beautiful and is in the sun until about 4 PM daily.

Really great property, really great staff! If I mentioned a problem it was gone by the end of the day. Really went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant even when the hotel was empty except for us. There was someone at the door 24/7 and the breakfast was way above my expectations. They made a great cappuccino! The rooms are quiet large, and they have a balcony or patio. It's a little ways away from pub street and there's jot much else in the area, but a $4 tuk tuk ride will get you there pretty quickly. Just down the street from the Cambodian circus. Overall 10/10

This hotel and its amazing staff are out of this world. This was the most pleasant, enjoyable stay of our entire life. The hotel is lovely, really charming and clean. The room was enormous, bright and well insulated and the breakfast was nice. The staff was over the top, really there are no words, they made us feel very welcomed and at home there! The bar at the pool is also amazing. We were also given a very nice breakfast for our 4am Angkor Wat tour and the staff even offered to call a tuktuk for us to visit the ruins another day. A tip: do not miss out the restaurant!!!! It is absolutely delicious! Had we known our stay was gonna be so pleasant, we would have booked for more days! It is definitely our go-to hotel and we are looking forward to going again hopefully soon. We've been to many nice hotels in many different coutries and no one is even close to this one. While looking for hotels in Seam Reap we saw a lot of nice options and the key point that made us go for this one were the reviews about the amazing staff. Well, let me tell you that no review really truly can reflect how cozy, comfortable and happy you'll feel there. We were over the moon with this hotel and recommend it 100000%!!!!

Very nice and reasonably priced hotel. The location is quite good, easy to walk to the National Museum, some little shops and restaurants nearby, or you can just grab a Tuk Tuk and go wherever. I didn’t try breakfast but I went for lunch at their restaurant. The food and price was very good, in addition you can get 25 % discount coupon for the restaurant when checking in. The room was clean and everything was standard and nice. The only thing I missed was more electricity outlets by the bed. I was in a twin room and there was only one socket to plug in phone, and other devices to charge. Overall was happy with my stay.

Great hotel. An oasis in the hectic city of Siem Reap. After a busy day in Angkor Wat or in the hectic city, you can relax perfectly. The tuk tuk ride costs $1.50 into town. Very friendly and personable people who run the hotel. I have diabetes and a new refrigerator was even put in my room so that I can cool my insulin well. Thanks for that ! The pool is perfect and the rooms are a nice size. I would come back at any time.
