B&B Dei Rossi

Tired of everyday conveniences? Want to waste money? Then this is the B&B (without breakfast) for you. You won't sleep: cars, scooters and the noise of passers-by can be heard as if they were in the room, not to mention the customers in the other rooms. Small, humid room, without AIR CONDITIONING, and without furniture or shelves, not even in the bathroom or shower, you don't know where to put your personal items. The bathroom is unsuitable, luckily there is a radiator on which to place the towels. What's even worse is the cleanliness, NON-EXISTENT: from the rusty toilet, to the filthy broom (see photo), to the bed cover with stains, to the windowsill full of bird droppings, to the furniture covered in dust, to the wardrobe with fur and hair.. .only after our complaints about the heat, they brought us the remote control for the fan placed above the chandelier, but it could only be kept at minimum otherwise it would make noise. €90 per night??? Crazy. And a refund!

I just spent three days in Siena with my husband and we "stayed" in this B&B. Nothing can be said about the location except that it is excellent and strategic, but for the rest I have to make some honest comments. Covid aside from the fact that it excludes breakfast in this facility, I don't see how it could ever be done even without covid... the common space is non-existent, a medium table in a small room with a shared fridge and a microwave which absolutely cannot accommodate a Breakfast doesn't really have the basics. Better to present yourself as a room renter in my opinion and forget about breakfast once and for all. the room is nothing special without a fridge and basic there are nice elements but others that really downgrade it and overshadow the others. Bathroom renovated and still clean, perhaps I would pay a little more attention to the cleanliness of the shower but I think it is the first shortcoming of the staff. The room was on average clean apart from an unpleasant and rather unpleasant problem with the bed/linen encountered upon our arrival which in any case the owners immediately took action to resolve. I honestly think it wasn't their fault but once again the superficiality of the cleaning staff but which unfortunately then falls on them. I would advise the owners to pay a little more attention to the work of the cleaners who perhaps are not as attentive as them. The last sore point is the STAIRS which are too many too many and steep, 4 floors without a lift... I understand that in a historic building everything is more complex but there really are many... honestly I don't want to say it's a bad B&B but I find it expensive for what it offers, for the amount requested I have stayed in much better hotels. It's not a €120 per night room without breakfast

Chambre en plein cœur du centre historique donc très bien situé pour visiter Sienne. Il nous a été indiqué une rue à 10mn à pied pour se stationner gratuitement. La chambre se situé au 4e étage sans ascenseur. Pour nous pas de problème mais c'est bon à savoir. La chambre est équipée d'un ventilateur au plafond ce qui n'est pas mentionné dans l'annonce donc très bonne nouvelle à notre arrivée avec plus de 35 degrés dehors. Par contre assez bruyant, un bar juste en bas mais on ne peut pas tout avoir :-)
