Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Burg. Es gibt viele Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe. Die Lage ist super. Auf dem gemeinsamen Balkon/Flur stellen Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und eine sehr gute Italienische Kaffeemaschine zur Verfügung! Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen!

Pivnița lui Teo didn't just feel like a stay; it felt like coming home to family. Spending four days here was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and generosity of the hosts made us feel like visiting long-lost relatives rather than hotel guests. ​The room was immaculate, comfortable, and full of charming local character—providing the perfect cozy retreat after a day of exploring. But the true standout experience was tasting their incredible craft liqueurs. Each variety is packed with authentic flavor and clearly made with immense pride and care. ​If you are looking for genuine hospitality, fantastic accommodations, and an unforgettable local taste, this place is unbeatable. We left with warm memories, a few bottles of liqueur, and every intention of returning as soon as possible!

We had an excellent experience at Pivnita lui Teo, enjoying spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable rooms. The highlight of our stay was the warm welcome and the delicious tasting of traditional palinca and aromatic liqueurs, made with true passion. An authentic and charming stop in the heart of Sighișoara that we wholeheartedly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was wonderful-he greeted us with water and the local drink and offered us his own parking space! Excellent location and very clean.

Visited from Canada on a mother- daughter trip. The hosts’ kindness, sincerity and hospitality was outstanding. The location is central, charming and an old gate opens into an inner courtyard full of flowers. Teo greeted us warmly with a complimentary shot of his artisanal woodland berry brandy - decorated with global awards and locally crafted in his cellar, together with many other varieties of outstanding fruit brandies. The room was immaculate, comfortable, with air conditioning and great water pressure in the shower. We also really appreciated being in the heart of the citadel and easily dash to the room for a change and a rest. Don’t leave without some of the fruit brandy treasure!

stayed here with my dad and my little brother and it could not have been more perfect!!! the place is beautiful and the rooms are clean very nicely decorated. teo was the ideal host! he was extremely hospitable, generous, and had a great sense of humor. he also makes amazing liquors, so be sure to try some if you stay here! i would absolutely stay here again next time i come to the area. thank you teo!!!

The host is a wonderful nice guy! He really tries to show how much he cares about the guests. Highly would recommend! Just a heads up parking is a bit of a walk away, but you can drive up and drop your luggage off at the place and park after.

What an amazing experience here! We are touring Romania, just the two of us, and strolled into La Teo after reading some other excellent reviews online. The tasting room was stunning and the host of the tasting room did an excellent job. He was encouraging while finding the perfect drinks for us. Along with the atmosphere, the quiet, relaxing atmosphere on the tasting room is award winning. It allowed us to chat with a couple other families who were also enjoying the space. It’s tough to find but worth the search! We went two days in a row. If you feel like you are going down an alley street, you are going exactly the right way!

We thought we can have dinner at Mr. Teo’s place but he told us we can’t have food there, however he invited us in the cellar and explained what services he offers and we had the opportunity to try some of his amazing drinks that he makes. Such a great place and lovely owner. Next time we will stay at his place as it is a beautiful and affordable accommodation.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience visiting this place. The owner personally welcomed us and even opened his cellar for us to look around. He shared stories about his craft and let us taste several of his own brandies and liqueurs — all of them delicious and clearly made with care and passion. What really stood out was his kindness and generosity. He offered us tastings free of charge and even recommended a fantastic local restaurant nearby, which turned out to be a great spot too. This was one of those rare, authentic encounters you don’t often get while traveling — genuine hospitality, amazing local products, and a memorable experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

This is really an outstanding place to stay. Teo and family are very hospitable and the place is beautifully decorated -- not to mention centuries old! It is very atmospheric, and the location could not be better. I can't imagine a better place in this magnificent town.

We went for liquor tasting, and it was a joy! Our host's passion and knowledge truly enhanced the experience, making each sip even more interesting. We had such a great time exploring the different flavors and learning. We are so glad we went!
