Best Hotels in Sigiriya

This was the second time I visited Heritance Kandalama and it was better than the last stay especially I would like to mention the Guest Relations Executive Miss. Yoshina for taking care of our family and fulfilling all our needs with all the needed information with her efficient style and making the stay comfortable also big shoutout to the chefs food was beyond amazing and the restaurant staff was very active as well and also the suite was amazing with all the amenities that should be there in a room overall a 10/10 experience and a must visit place in Sri Lanka ♥️

There are two types of English breakfast and Sri Lankan breakfast, which are quite rich, but less than buffet style. The room is very British. The backyard is a meadow, the trees are monkeys, and the environment is very good.

This hotel is close to the main attraction - Sigiriya rocks and next to the road, which is very convenient. But at the same time in a quiet place with a view of the mountains. The lobby and restaurant are very stylishly decorated. Upon check-in, we were treated to a refreshing papaya juice and cool hand towels, which came in handy after a long drive. Check-in was very fast and comfortable. The territory of the hotel is very green and well-groomed. There is a large pool with different depths and even an outdoor jacuzzi )) During our stay, the water in the pool was very warm and it was nice to swim. There are sun loungers and beach towels. It is very fortunate that you can choose a place to relax in the shade of trees or in the sun to sunbathe. All Nivadoo rooms are located in detached cottages. Thus, the guests do not interfere with each other at all. We had a triple room, very cozy and stylishly decorated. The room has air conditioning, refrigerator with mini-bar, TV, kettle and dishes to make tea or coffee, bottled water. Cleaning service and change of towels are offered daily. Very pleased with the availability of hot water in shower. The room was very clean and pleasant to be in. There is also a terrace with a table and chairs where you can relax during the day. Food is a different story. You can choose accommodation with breakfast or half board. Breakfasts and dinners are amazingly delicious. For breakfast they serve scrambled eggs, bacon or sausages, toast, butter, jam, fresh fruit, pancake, but the baked pineapple with chocolate topping was especially impressive, it was divine)) For dinner there is a choice of several dishes. We tried shrimp and fish in sweet sauce and grilled chicken, all very tasty. For dinner, soup-puree and a dessert of your choice are also served. We were very pleased with our stay and would love to come again.

Garden-style hotel, with beautiful scenery and large rooms. There is also a welcome ceremony when arriving at the hotel. There are not many people staying at the hotel. The most funny thing is that from the lobby to the room, the bottle car cannot pass the path smoothly. At that time, the design was not thoughtful. The overall feeling is that this hotel is a relatively high-end hotel in the local area, which is good in all aspects, but remember to give a little more tip, otherwise you can just shake your face and show it to you

Beautiful hotel, surrounded by nature and beautiful birds, so quiet and peaceful. The bed is extremely comfortable, the shower is great, the rooms are spacious. Short walking distance to Sigiriya rock and to Sigiriya town. The pool is beautiful and extremely clean, with an awesome view. Stuff are really helpful and extremely cordial. Special mention to the restaurant staff. The food is amazing, the chefs are lovely. A special thanks to Sunil and Guilan (the restaurant staff) they represent the best of Sri Lanka, the people. Will always be in our hearts. If we come back to Sri Lanka we will definitively will stay here. Ayubowan.

MAGICAL!! it's a pity that we had just 1 night to spend in this resort.... it's a place to detox, disconnect, seek within and go on a soul searching journey to connect within yourself! The entire energy of this place is pure! From the way we were greeted with the temple flowers as we were walked down to our little cottage to the natural fragrance in the room with the fresh flowers decorated in all corners of the room, the bed and the washroom.... everything was charming. Wifi was only in the lounge area/common...so you could not stay cooped up in your place all day...n if you happen to go in Jan/Feb, that's just great coz it will get a little pleasantly chilly at late evenings ...n just breathing in that fresh clean air was amazing! The buffet spread includes live cooking counter and is quite varied...not exceptionally varied for vegetarians but overall a good spread. I would love to go back n just be there a few days n slack in the beauty in that still and clear clean quiet. There is also an ayurvedic centre within the premises for those interested.... I would suggest, it's worth a try and the prices are pretty good too.

Flower Garden Eco Village is one of the best hotels to stay in Sigiriya. It has the most spectacular environment. Hotel rooms are spacious and very clean. Food is also good and they have very friendly staff and value for money would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The place is peaceful and very well organised, the chef and team of staff exceptionally helpful and eager to please.

Around the property you can see monkeys and birds and sometimes even wild elephants. very helpful staff who arranged a safari jeep for us with a good price.” “We had a beautiful stay at sunshine resort. We had a wonderful stay in Sigiriya Cashew Palace Resort, very good hotel, well located, super clean, peaceful atmosphere and the staff had been incredibly friendly. We would definitely recommend it to anyone!
