Sihanoukville Homestays

No breakfast, the location is near the Chinese street, it is convenient to eat. Not far from the door is the Vietnamese street, there are many women on the street, so it is not convenient to go in and out. Family or male and female friends are not suitable for travel. If you do not consider this factor, the hotel's price is good.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. It's beautiful & the location is marvelous, easy walking distance to the beach. The bungalows are clean & beds are nice. Dora (forgive me if I've butchered the name spelling), the lovely Russian woman who runs the place, was exceedingly kind & gracious to us throughout our stay. My girlfriend & I can't go home yet because of Covid-19, but Dora made us feel right at home the whole time we stayed here. If you're going to Koh Rong, do yourself a favor & stay at Tree House Bungalow. You won't regret it!

Helpful staff at reception, allowed us to leave our bags before and after check in/out. Reception is based on the main street in front of shoreline but our room was located 1min walk up a little lane beside it, it suited us because it was less noisy up there. The area we stayed in was a big barn shed divided into rooms. Walls only go about half way around the room then the topos open and links to other rooms so you can hear other occupants even when and if they talk quietly... Some can be very loud. Mosquitos and bugs galore in the room. Our mosquito net had a big hole in it and also they didn't provide a peg or anything to keep the opening closed and sealed for night time. The bed sheets were dirty and were horrible to sleep in. When we first arrived mosquitos had been hiding in the pillows and blanket when I shook them out they all flew off. No Internet connection either.. Both our phones said no Internet access when connected to WiFi.. Very disappointing. A cat lives in the room right accross from us, was meowing all of the first night.. Think it was hungry as it was very thin and had 4 kittens about 2 weeks old. We stayed 2 nights here and I was glad to leave after.

The Friends Guesthouse was recently opened in 2021, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Sihanoukville.From the hotel, Sihanouk International Airport is approximately 18km away. Location next to the main street , all next . To the beach 20 minutes walk or 1 dollar on tuktuk. Clean , safe , spacious , super polite staff , wifi is not perfect but not bad . There are local cafes and shops around .

New room (not all protectors are removed including on the smoke detector). The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. No toilet paper at arrival. Communication to improve as well as the payment process. WhatsApp accessible French-speaking manager.

Super friendly and the room is so good

Clean rooms and bathroom, very large but basic. The staff are lovely, and the woman on the front desk was incredibly helpful for travel and food suggestions. About 15 mins by tuk tuk to the Jetty for the ferry to Koh Rong/Samloem and some food options. Area is doing lots of building so roads full of potholes and closed off, need to take a tuk tuk to get anywhere. Open holes and pits everywhere around the hostel, and on the last morning the power went out (has been happening with the development apparently). For price, this is a great place to stay.
