This is in a superb location elevated terraced pitches with good views of the lake. Although out of Silkeborg in Laven- good train service which we used to Silkeborg and to Aarhus. Pitch sizes are fine On site facilities good Food truck arrived one evening and on another the bar open by the pool Recommend base for seeing Danish ‘lakes’

We’ve just left the Terrassen Camping site and wanted to write about it before heading into Norway. It was an amazing campsite and having stayed in many in Europe can honestly say this was best. The owners have thought of everything to make motorhome stays as easy as possible and the views are simply sublime. Will definitely be back in Spring time.

Campingplatz ist sehr schön besonders der Ausblick. Leider direkt am See keine bis wenig Platz zum Liegen. Am Abend sind wir am Crêpestand über eine Stunde angestanden und am Ende war unser Crêpe verbrannt. Campingplatz kann nicht wirklich etwas dafür aber es ist ein sehr schlechtes Angebot. Langes Anstehen, Verbrannt und Überteuert…. stellen sie sich nicht an!!! Sonst alles top!

Vue très belle mais ça s’arrête malheureusement là. Les sanitaires ne sont pas assez souvent nettoyé et donc, quand on campe, c’est pas génial. Odeurs fortes dans les toilettes et il faut nettoyer les douches (à cause de voyageurs peu inquiet du suivant) avant utilisation… La piscine est sympa mais pas très nette non plus 😓 mais là aussi, peut-être suite au passage de campeurs peut scrupuleux… Un manque de suivi donc côté sanitaire mais très nette côté place de camping.
