Reviews of Hotel Mi Rochor

This is my second time staying at Hotel Mi Rochor. The last time I stayed here, it was due to a film festival event that was happening nearby at Lasalle. This time, I had just arrived back from Melbourne, didn’t want to go home just yet as I had an event at Lasalle too, so I decided to book a room for one night! Room was good, though not as clean as the last room that I stayed at - which was actually flawless! This room had some stray hairs and other bits of dirt still left lying around, and quite a bit of hair on the bathroom floor as I entered. Not really an issue. Bed was clean. And there are no bugs. So I am happy. That’s my constant worry for all hotels. I like the high floor, and balcony. Thank you so much for the upgrade of the balcony. Like the last time that I was here, I got the penultimate floor again. A different area of the building this time though (as I was facing Lasalle the other time), but still quite a panoramic view. Television still super huge. Have never seen a telly that big before in a hotel room. I did enjoyed HBO, though I think some of the other channels were not working as well. Couldn’t get ABC Australia (only sound), and Vasantham seemed to have duplicated itself onto 2 other channels despite it saying that it’s CNA. Actually found that more amusing than anything. Check-in was smooth and quick. Massive out to Masao who attended to me. Super quick and seamless. I’ve just realised from my previous review that he attended to my check-in the last visit as well. But it was only this visit that I found out that he’s a skater as well! He saw my board and we started talking about skateboarding, and realised that we had mutual acquaintances. Small world! Love it’ As a customer (and also as someone who has worked behind the counter before), I value lovely moments like these as it really shows the humans behind the desk or uniform. If you know what I mean. Location-wise, Hotel Mi is still situated within such a great location. A decent drop-off point for vehicles, even for 13 seaters, which is quite comparative and competitive to other hotels within the same location. I can see why it is sometimes used as a hotel for performing groups, or bands coming to Singapore. Train and buses are nearby; both heading either towards the city or downtown. In addition, food options are a plenty, thanks to the two arts colleges which are there - adding to the vibrancy of the area. A short walk away, Tekka and Little India is nearby too! Such a melting pot! A wonderful hotel with equally wonderfully staff! Will be back when I have the next event nearby!

I would like to commend the very accommodating Front Office Staffs and Bellmans they were so kind to assist us and give my sister in the room a surprise birthday setup. That is very heart warming 💖 will definitely book again.

Very small rooms. Conjusted. Difficult to keep luggage and open it. Better to skip it if you have big baggage. Also queen bed is not enough for 2 adults and one kid. After 2 days we changed to Village Albert Court Hotel in the next building. Big rooms and very comfortable.

All good except no kettle, coffee n tea bags. The bed is unusually high. If you are not careful, you might fall when coming down.

This is my first time staying in Mi Rochor. Location is very strategic which is next to Rochor mrt. Very easy to reach other places like Bugis, Garden by the Bay and walking distance to Haji Lane. The room is very clean and the overall service was very good. Will definitely stay here again for my next trip.

Great location & very clean, but rooms are quite small. Perfect for short stays if you prioritize convenience over space. Good for solo travelers or couples who don’t mind compact rooms. Would stay again for the value!

Good & Convenient Located in the heart of the city next to the vibrant colours of little india

The room is a bit small but the location is good, it is right next to Rocher MRT station, a few coffee shops and cafes nearby. However, there’s no big supermarket around, the gym is too hot in the afternoon. The staffs are nice, WiFi is stable, the room is clean.

The walkway to the train station is fully shaded, which is very convenient. There’s also a convenience store just a few steps away. I really like the location—it’s only a 10-minute walk to Bugis Street, where you can find plenty of food options. We stayed in a triple room for three people. The space was sufficient, but when opening our luggage, the others had to sit on the bed to make room. The only downside was the hotel lobby sofa—it looked quite old and had visible water stains. Other than that, the stay was great. Highly recommend!

Perfect location, right next to the underground with shelter to the hotel and you need that in Singapore, friendly staff and clean. Would stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights in a comfortable family room and left feeling happy and satisfied. When you exit from Rochor MRT, you'll see the hotel on your left.
