Carlton City Hotel Singapore Reviews

A great hotel with a good location ( near tanjong pagar mrt) with lots of eateries around. My partner and I stayed in a club room for 1 night. The room looks clean and new. The club lounge was very cozy and comfortable. Very good vibes for chilling there. It comes with small bites like sandwiches/croissant in the afternoon, whole day cookies ,biscuits , chips and juices available. However, we were quite disappoint with the evening cocktails. Saw many good reviews about their club lounge but I guess we came at the wrong timing as I heard from the manager that this weeks’s booking for club were less than 5 ppl hence it will only served Ala Carte items like spring roll and yakitori just that it’s unlimited serving. Kinda wasted as I was still looking forward to their seafoods ( based on those reviews) nevertheless, we were well served by Jasper and Rayyis. Even though we were the only guest at the lounge, they are always ready to refill our drinks for us. They were very friendly too 👍🏻hopefully next time will get to try their full menu.

Location of the hotel is very good, near China Town and opposite has a super market FairPrice, and we had breakgfast there very easily, the staff are friendly and the concierge guy really looks professional.

My perk is late check out but wasn’t informed Other than that is all good

Water pressure kinda weak compare to the last time i came and the shower door kept opening 🥲🥲🥲 but overall love the facilities with the new additional of wireless charging box/pad thingy

Everything was perfect! We had a great stay. The fridge could have been empty. Cleanliness wise: a little dusty. Service wise: abit too slow. Could have been improved. But overall, was the perfect stay ever! Everything was convenient.

This is my 2nd stay here, for my birthday this year! Always loved how the location is convenient and it has everything I need for a simple but satisfying stay. Everything was great, I got upgraded to the 24th Floor 🥹🥹! Only slight downside was that the door had to be pushed really, REALLY hard to close / open it (it won't close properly). Not a huge nuisance but I do have to use my whole body weight to close the door lol. And there were dust bunnies in the gaps where the door lock (the black latch) is. I had to wipe that down myself. Besides these, the stay was comfy and great! Thank you once again! :)

I had a disappointing stay. Someone entered my room without knocking or pressing the doorbell, which felt very invasive. Additionally, the shower head knob fell off while I was trying to take a shower. Not the experience I expected.

Have a very bad experience at the hotel Front desk when check in . Front desk staff request physical IC to be show for Singaporean who want to check in . Which I don’t bring IC out as now Singpass is very convenient for us in local . They don’t allow me to just showing them Singpass IC . Which cause a lot of delay for my staycation . Very bad front desk service . The room is big and clean and breakfast is good.

We were greeted with poilte, helpful lady at the reception. Though we were early but she managed to check us in. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy as well as pillows.

Nice location in CBD Singapore! Great view and soft bed, with bath tub to relax too, value for money!

Hotel well located for leisure as well as business activities. Clean and comfortable. Great price/value.
