Reviews of Tai Hoe Hotel

The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to buses and trains. One of the best things about it is that it is situated directly across from City Square Mall and just one block away from Mustafa Centre, making shopping and dining very accessible. The hotel has a motel-like appearance, but the room was clean, and both the bed and bathroom were well maintained. Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide complimentary soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, or slippers, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely book this hotel again because of its excellent location, cleanliness, and convenience.

love that it's nearby Mustafa and City Square. it's also accessible to MRT stations. it's a 2 or 3 star hotel only so don't set your expectations for the amenities and also there's an ongoing construction inside the hotel so it's noisy in the morning. from Lavender MRT stop, we walked to it around 15-20mins with our luggages. overall is 4/5

Horrible, there is a small cockroach 🪳 in the room. The soundproof here also terrible ! Only the location is suitable, very near city square mall.

We booked twice on different dates. Our first stay was on the 4th floor. The rooms were okey. Clean and no crawling creatures were seen. Toiletries were replenished daily. Be sure to keep the coffee and tea if u did not consume otherwise they will not give anew 😆 On our next stay. We were assigned to 5th floor. Room 515 in particular. This room fails to satisfy me. It’s smelly and cockroaches were seen. Its good our second stay was for a night only unlike our first stay which is 3 nights. Its a budget hotel anyway. As long as you are not assigned to room like 515 you will have a pleasant stay.

Too dark in the room. But the location is near to the MRT and other food stall it's good for a budget hotel.

The hotel is clean and I got a pretty big room. With a budget price, you can get a hotel with very good service. The location is also very strategic, close to many places to eat, mrt and bus stop are also close to walking for only 3 to 5 minutes. I will come back to this hotel if I go to Singapore again on holiday.

For this price in Singapore, you can't expect too much, but the cleanliness was truly awful. There were so many cockroaches in the room. If you're looking to rough it for a night or two, you're probably better off choosing a hostel.

The location is good with lots of eateries nearby. It’s near a bus station. Room is very basic but it’s clean.

Good Location convinient. Train terminal is walking distance. Just accross resto and mall.

Its a good location because its just infront of city square, but i dont like the smells of the room, bad smell, the bed, the pillow u can smell the sweat and body odor, i need to cover the pillow with towels because strong smells, they should wash also those pillows after using.

We were two girls traveling together and stayed at Tai Hoe Hotel for a short trip. The location is quite convenient — close to Mustafa Centre, City Square Mall, and public transport, which made getting around easy. The room was small but manageable. It was clean enough, but nothing fancy. Some parts of the room felt a bit old and could use an update. The bed was okay, though not super comfy, and the air conditioning worked fine. One thing to note — the walls are quite thin, so we could sometimes hear noise from the hallway or other roosms. As two female travelers, we felt generally safe, but the environment was more functional than cozy or relaxing. Staff was polite but not overly warm or welcoming. Check-in/check-out was quick and smooth. Overall, it’s a budget hotel — good if you just need a place to sleep and plan to spend most of your time exploring the city. But if you're looking for more comfort or a relaxing vibe, you might want to look elsewhere.

Very good location. near mtr and 24/7 establishments like mustafa center and a lot of restaurants. staff gave us free early check-in which we really appreciate a lot since we had a red eye flight. bottled water, instant coffee and teas are replenished every day so you won’t need to buy if you want especially water (coz it’s expensive in sg). Water heater works too! you just need to switch the power on, just try every switch 🥲 since there’s no label for it (for the hotel, it will really be helpful to label the switches so we won’t need to guess what it is for). just a little bit issue with the air conditioner, it turns to fan automatically so it’s not really making the room cold, that’s the only issue. All in all, we did have a good stay and if you’re like us that only needs a hotel for sleeping due to tight sched and day activities, this is a perfect place to stay. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit in Singapore.
