Village Hotel Sentosa by Far East Hospitality

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Universal Studios and not far from the beach. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, plenty of dining options, and it's also very close to the MRT station.

The biggest highlight of Village Hotel Sentosa is its great location, making it very convenient to visit Universal Studios without wasting time on the road. The hotel overall is minimalist and functional with no unnecessary flashy designs; the rooms are clean and tidy, fully meeting daily accommodation needs. There is an outdoor pool, but we were too rushed this time to try it out, leaving a small regret. The staff provided good service. It’s ideal for travelers specifically heading to Universal Studios Singapore, and the overall stay was wonderful.

My daughter really loves this hotel. The pool is great, and although the rooms are a bit small, the decor is well-maintained. It's also not too far from all the attractions on Sentosa.

The hotel has a great location—just a short crosswalk away from the MRT station. The pool design is quite nice, and the pool area is very pretty. The lobby lacks enough seating for guests waiting to check in, but you can speak with the front desk to see if any rooms are ready and request an early check-in. The staff seemed a bit burnt out and weren't very enthusiastic. The room is the biggest letdown. It's quite small, and the curtains are extremely thin and let in all the light. The decor falls short of even a basic budget chain hotel back home; based on the room alone, you'd never guess this is a 4-star hotel.

The only issues were the incredibly small room (even for a deluxe room) and the somewhat lengthy check-in process. The swimming pool has several sections, but the water is quite shallow, which made it a bit less enjoyable. A nice touch was the ice machine on every floor, perfect for chilled drinks.

I booked the Family Room, which is two connecting king-sized rooms, so it was very spacious and comfortable to stay in. The swimming pool is right downstairs, but I was a bit short on time so I didn't get to swim. The room was very clean, and having such a large space in Singapore was truly comfortable, much better than the one I had in the city.

Overall, the experience was quite good, and the service was very comprehensive. The swimming pool, in particular, was excellent – the water was warm, there were pools of various depths, and you could see the ocean directly from them. The kids had a fantastic time!

The room was too small; we had to block the door with our luggage. The swimming pool was excellent and perfect for kids; mine played there all day. You can borrow swim rings at the pool, but the attendant wasn't very friendly. There's a 7-Eleven right outside, which is super convenient for buying things. The MRT station is a bit of a walk, but still manageable. You can easily go to VivoCity for meals. However, it was really hard to get through to the front desk by phone. The room didn't have any kids' toiletries, and the ones I brought were taken by the cleaning staff. I wanted to ask the front desk for some, but I couldn't get them on the phone.

Terrible, on par with a domestic budget hotel yet claimed to be 4-star. It was filthy!!
