Extremely disappointing service and dishonest staff!
We stayed here for our honeymoon and came in feeling excited, but it quickly turned into a letdown. The staff attitude was consistently cold and unwelcoming, with no smiles and a very rude tone. At first we tried to be understanding, thinking maybe one staff member was just having a bad day, but over time it became clear that this behaviour was common across multiple staff.
I tried calling the front desk from our room many times over several days and no one picked up. The one time someone finally answered, we were relieved because we just needed toiletries refilled late at night. The staff member who answered told us the delivery robot was not working and asked us to come down to the lobby to pick things up ourselves. Later, we found out the delivery system was actually working, which made it feel like she simply did not want to bring the items up.
The room itself was also very dusty. I had allergy symptoms throughout the stay and had to take allergy pills daily.
Even during check out on our last day, the staff remained unfriendly and unhelpful, and some of the explanations we were given did not feel honest.
I genuinely do not understand how other reviews describe the staff as friendly and nice, because that was not our experience at all. I am not sure if this is just a difference in service culture in Singapore, but if you are expecting a Western standard of hospitality, this is not the place I would recommend.
