ST Signature Tanjong Pagar

The facilities are complete and the value for money is excellent. Old Bazaar is right next door, so food options are very convenient! Most importantly, the room even has a window, and I had a room to myself, which offered privacy. This price is incredibly good value!

The air conditioning in this room automatically switches to cooling mode. It's great value for money and very quiet. I was a bit worried about the cleanliness of the hostel bathrooms, but they turned out to be excellent, very clean and comfortable. It's perfect for solo travelers. It would be even better if there was an indoor laundry system, perhaps like the coin-operated silent rooms you see in Japan. Though, maybe it would be too noisy to add one here. There are three MRT stations nearby, making it super convenient to get around. In Singapore, more MRT stations usually mean more food options. Plus, the two streets near the hotel are actually historic, scenic streets – clean and comfortable, and no dodgy people around. This was my first time staying in this area, and I honestly think it's the best location (compared to Orchard and Geylang, and you don't get swarms of tourists from Chinatown constantly milling about).
