This was supposed to be a joyful birthday celebration, but it turned into one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The service and attitude of the staff were completely unacceptable — especially the Malay lady at the front desk wearing a hijab, who was rude, unhelpful, and showed zero initiative to assist guests.
We had requested an early check-in because we brought a birthday cake and cold food that needed refrigeration. The staff promised to notify us via WhatsApp when a room became available. That promise was never fulfilled. We waited for almost **two hours** with no update whatsoever.
Finally, we decided to return to the hotel to check in person. Only then did another staff member — a Myanmar lady — step in and immediately arranged a room for us. She was the only person who displayed any professionalism and basic courtesy. It’s very clear that if we hadn’t gone back ourselves, we would have just been left waiting endlessly.
When we entered the room, we were completely shocked. There were **no slippers, no dish sponge, and one of the bath towels was torn**. For a rate of **$172 per night**, this was appalling. We contacted customer service to request the missing items, but they took **over 30 minutes** to deliver them, despite us calling multiple times for updates. To make matters worse, the cleaner next door told us he couldn’t provide the items because it required “approval” — for basic necessities like towels and sponges! Absolutely ridiculous.
The entire experience was chaotic, disorganized, and displayed a complete lack of care for guests. Even during checkout, there was no apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. Just cold, careless service from start to finish.
For the price charged, this hotel delivers **third-class service with zero accountability**. This was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. We will never return, and we strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs.
