I had a great stay at Hotel 81 Premier Hollywood and would definitely stay again. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I arrived earlier than expected after a long journey, and Elvin gave me such a warm welcome and kindly allowed me to check into my room early, which I really appreciated.
The room was exactly as pictured — compact, but with everything you needed. There was space to hang clothes, sit down comfortably, and the coffee facilities were a nice touch. Most importantly, the room was bright and very clean, so thank you to Liv Zhen for keeping everything spotless.
Even though I only stayed for two nights, I still received fresh towels and coffee top-ups, which was an unexpected bonus and very much appreciated.
The road the hotel is on looked a little unkept at first and initially put me off slightly, but after a short 2-minute walk you’re right in the middle of the hustle and bustle with loads of late-night food spots, convenience stores, drinks, and snack options nearby.
While the hotel isn’t directly next to an MRT station, there are plenty of buses close by, making it really easy to get around Singapore and visit all the main attractions. It’s also only around a 20-minute taxi ride to the airport, which was very convenient.
Overall, a really pleasant stay with excellent service and good value for Singapore.
