Hotel 1929

Room is quite small but worth the price! Near MRT, restaurants, and convenience store. Recommend for all travelers. Room is clean, bed is soooo comfy!

Nice boutique hotel at a convenient location. About 5 mins walk from Outram MRT. The room is decent (compact and cozy), though can tell that the building is a little old. Soundproof isn’t that great but still acceptable. TV has Netflix - quite good for staycay. Check in and check out process was fuss free. Nearby has nice eateries

We arrived at the hotel at 11pm after a long flight And they gave us a tiny standard room(photos) because they don’t have any other room available even if we booked a deluxe room. I had to make a complain to TRIP.com then the morning after they give us a Deluxe room. Avoid to book the standard room,there is no space for luggage,toilet and shower have the same cabin space and the sink is outside the bathroom. The wood floor was rotten with mold stains on the walls. The area during the morning is really noisy due to traffic. There are better choices in Singapore for the same price.

Too expensive for me. But overall this is a good hotel if you are financial affortable guest.

Stay with family. 2A1C booked twin room and they help to upgrade. Nice service. In Chinatown and near Outram Park MRT

This hotel is located at the entrance to Chinatown. The staffs are friendly and helpful:) Also they even turned on the air conditioner in the room already! Thanks for your kindness. Obviously, It's true that it's small but it's cozy alone. The bed is very big for one person. Moreover I was could open my large ruggage! They had basic shower tools like many towels, shampoo etc. The biggest advantage of the hotel is that you can store your ruggage early, and the location is amazing! Lastly, If you have a plan to go to the nearby morning market, you should change the Singapore money:) I coundn't pay to Alipay, Cards because I'm a foreigner(only in the market) Have a nice trip in this hotel! 사실 한국인들에게는 조금 넓은 고시텔이라고 생각하시면 돼요. 일주일 이내로 머물 거라면 이 호텔을 추천합니다. 이 근방, 이 가격에서는 이곳이 제일 나았어요. 저는 다행히 실내슬리퍼를 따로 챙겨와서 신고다녔습니다. 여행을 계속 다닐 거라면 슬리퍼 하나정도는 사시는 걸 추천해요. 아무래도 저희는 집안에서 신발을 벗고 다니니까요:) 걸어서 2분 거리에 세븐일레븐이 있었고, 건너편에 나시파당 집이 있었어요. 당연히 사테거리도 걸어서 20분 정도 걸렸고, 아침식사를 위한 시장은 7분 거리였습니다. Maxwell역은 5분 거리로 위치가 너무 좋아요. 이 가격에 이 정도면 괜찮다고 생각합니다!

A great, friendly hotel in an excellent location for a Chinatown visit. Close to train stations and good food options. Excellent value for money too. The staff are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I would stay again and recommend Hotel 1929.

Planned to stayover in preparation for a night out. Location is great and accessible, super near to the MRTs and major drinking spots. Bare minimum room with basic cleanliness. Facilities wise, they only have rooms, other than that, do not expect much. Lifts required cards to enter, but one room only had 1 card making it quite troublesome to share a room with friends with a different plan. Would recommend if you're looking for a budget place to crash, but if you're going for a staycation, think twice.

The hotel has good access to the public transportation as two metro stations are nearby (Chinatown to its north and Outram Park to its west). Living here makes it easy for me to get around Singapore. The Check-in process was smooth, no deposit required. Receptionists are polite and hospitable and. The room is clean, though there is not much space between the bed and the wall. But considering the bang for the buck, it should not be complained. And when I found the water heater at my room was not working, the staff helped me change my room to a much bigger one. Generally speaking, the hotel is good. You should go there if you aim at cost-efficiency.
