Victoria Hotel a NuVe Group Collection

Honestly, the initial issue was pretty mediocre, but it got resolved later, so I'll let it slide. However, the hotel's service is quite poor, and the cleanliness standards are also concerning... Sometimes it's just frustrating; I asked for the duvet cover to be changed for three days and no one came.

Fantastic! Great service and an unbeatable location right in the city center. It's within walking distance to Bras Basah MRT station, and close to Bugis and Chijmes, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the water pressure was good. The front desk staff were friendly, could communicate in Chinese, and check-in/check-out was efficient. Plus, the room came with a free minibar stocked with snacks and drinks. Overall, it offers excellent value for money in downtown Singapore. It's my top choice for travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

A rather average small room, with a window facing a wall and no closet to hang clothes. The sliding wooden bathroom door faced the bed and was quite noisy. It was okay for a temporary one-night stay, and it felt clean, but my child woke up in the middle of the night complaining of an itch and couldn't go back to sleep.

The room was really clean, and they replenished the amenities daily. The mini-bar drinks and snacks were also complimentary (replenished every day). On top of that, the location is truly excellent. The bus stop is at most a 2-minute walk away, and the subway is also quite convenient. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, which is super convenient!

The hotel's location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. However, the hotel itself is too basic and not good value for money. This was a last-minute booking; if I had booked in advance, there would have been many better hotels in the area to choose from.

Great location, very close to the MRT (about a five-minute walk). There are many good malls nearby, and the room was very clean. I had a comfortable stay these past few days, and they even offered luggage storage. Highly recommend! 👍

There's a food court and a convenience store nearby, which was great for late returns. The staff were also very helpful, even showing me where the food court was. The complimentary drinks in the fridge were a lovely bonus. The location was excellent with plenty of bus stops and MRT stations, making it easy to get around. However, it was disappointing that there was no toothbrush provided. The sound of doors opening and closing was incredibly loud, like gunshots. The building itself was old and the room was quite run-down, which was a stark contrast to the photos online.

Soundproofing isn't great; you can clearly hear corridor noise from the room. Also, the air freshener smell in the room was quite strong, so I had to open the window to air it out. The highlights were the free minibar with complimentary Coke, biscuits, and two free bottles of water daily. Overall, it's pretty good value for money if you don't mind the environment.
