Reviews of Goodwood Park Hotel

The staff are friendly and helpful, making me feel like I’m home away from home. Booked this staycation to do some work while celebrating my birthday. They prepared a small chocolate cake, along with a candle. The reception even helped me charge my powerbank overnight when I forgot to bring my cable. I love the beautiful corridors and immaculate mirrors, which allow for lots of photo taking! The room is spacious. I like the little balcony and the huge desk space for working. The hotel lounge is quiet and offers some privacy. There’s also tables near the pools for working. The swimming pools are very well maintained. The gym is particularly well equipped and clean (the cleaner was kind to wait for me to finish my workout at 1am before entering). Would come for a staycation again!

+ve: 1. Good location, short walk to far east. 2. Good sized room 3. Room is well equipped (eg. fridge, freezer, oven, multiple tables and chairs etc.) 4. Parking is just below the building. Very convenient. 5. Hotel arrange a nice little cake since its a bdae staycay. -ve: 1. Check in/out was quite fast, but lacks the level of professionalism as compared to similar hotels. No greetings/intro, directly asked for ID or singpass. And when guests didn't catch it, staff couldn't explain and called another staff over. Same for check out. Didn't check with the guest on how was the stay etc. 2. Lift broke down. Have to use the stairs, very inconvenient for families with young kids and stroller. 3. The alarm went off multiple times at midnight. And the tv turned on by itself. Abit eerie but it's just a one night stay so we didnt flag this out. 4th floor. 4. Balcony was quite sticky and dusty.

Was a really amazing experience at Goodwood Park Hotel. Room was nice and spacious and location was great!

Amazing place to stay . Location is fantastic and surrounding is awesome. Besides are malls and food area. Heart of Orchard road and best for a stay.

Historical building,large and comfortable room.walking distance to Orchard Road,many restaurants and shopping malls.

Very clean everything was great, and they even upgrade y room to a larger one without extra charge ;)

The trip was not as pleasant we booked the room for anniversary with that specific layout they offered a more premium room but with 2 seperate beds which don’t make sense and when I request the initial room… they change to the room we wanted but wasn’t the same layout In short we did 2 changes before we got the room we wanted 2 major irks The heritage room have 1 major issue the bathroom is badly design the entire toilet floor will be wet as in flooding wet after a shower as there is no proper shower screen just a shower curtain I appreciate the free upgrade but please offer something that make sense instead of a room with 2 seperate bed and we need to reconfigured that after I checked in? When I already stated that it is an anniversary 2 more minor irks We when in the room with no disposal slipper The hairdryer is damaged with the handle splitting open that will potentially cut your hand as well as it is not functioning properly I will expect a 5 star hotel to provide proper tools and not some half damaged goods All in all it is a disappointment from a 5 star hotel

Our 4th time staying. We have tried almost all the room types. Will definitely go again!

Facilities were very good, with two adequate swimming pools and gym access. The staff were all very friendly and approachable. Breakfast selection had quite a spread.

Booked 1 night on 24 Dec 2024 to celebrate Christmas countdown and to have the Christmas buffet 1) comforter and Blankets have mould take the light and shine on it stayed at Heritage room number 02 / it’s old and have mouldy smell 2) Christmas Dinner buffet - unfortunately it is not like what it was last time before COVID, turkey and all the meat dishes were hard, Prawns and “lobster” not fresh and not much selection. There were like maybe 10 people at the restaurant incl us.  Cost me SGD 138 per pax (excl gst and svc charge)

Its a great place but due to the age, it is quite dated. Spaces seemed a little small compared to photos.
