Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen - Newly Renovated

A very busy hotel with many visitors!! Good price for value and service. Breakfast options are many. Good for business trip. Close to MRT station and many local shops nearby for last minute shopping for souvenirs. One tips is to budget sufficient time for lift usage in the morning as there are many guests.

The room is a little bit tight but the service is superb. There is also nearby convenient store to buy snacks

This is a clean and newly renovated hotel. Ample bar facility, including alcoholic drinks, is also provided

The room abit small but it good as it is, the location is good. But the foods for breakfast not many options.

Had a great time

3rd time in Ibis Bencoolen and I was surprised to see it was renovated! The rooms looked more spacious and even the bathroom seemed much chic and cool with the dark floor tiles! However, the trip this time was marred by several incidents. The second day in, I noticed the door hinge was odd, and it turned out one of the screws was missing, causing the door to not close tightly. Informed front desk and they sent someone to look into it, yet the man said they could only rectify the next day (something about they didn’t have the toolbox). Front desk offered to change rooms (it’s already the last day) or late check out until 2pm (flight was noon). Had an uneasy sleep since the door wasn’t fully locked. Shower water pressure was fine but it was scalding hot one night as well. Staff came and it was fine after that. Overall, the location is unbeatable, but facilities could be better maintained.
