Pullman Singapore Hill Street

Marina Bay Singapore|0.61km from New2U Thrift Shop

We recently stayed at Pullman Hill St. for 2 nights after a little odyssey at Munich Airport because of the weather and didn't regret it. The hotel is modern and comfortable, extremely centrally located in the “old part” of Singapore. The roof terrace with the view of the Marina Bay and pool is just wow, the bed was super comfortable, I particularly liked the firmness of the pillows. The design is modern and takes up the railway theme everywhere in a great and skilful way, after all it's about the Pullman wagons 😀 The lobby welcomes you with old suitcases that have various stickers from old, formerly well-known hotels and the same Let's clarify the claim of the house, which obviously wants to see itself in a row with these houses. And it can be that way!!! The room was big enough and we didn't miss anything, a great, large safe that accommodates a laptop computer as well as everything else, a Nespresso coffee machine that served us well when we left at 4 a.m., a shower There's no need to be generous with good-smelling shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. What was also good for us was the provision of a comb packaged in organic quality, which unfortunately didn't make it into our luggage... On the morning of our departure we were provided with a delicious breakfast doggy pack - great! In short, we were very happy with the new Pullman Hill Street and can imagine staying there again if we end up in Singapore.

The decoration is very old and has some smell. You need to let the smell go in every day; the hygiene is quite clean; the sound of the air conditioner is a window machine, and the sound is relatively loud: the quilt is a layer of cloth, and there is a separate thin blanket; the location is in a pedestrian street, taxi It’s not very convenient. Many drivers don’t know it. There are subways and buses nearby. In general, the traffic is convenient; there are shopping places such as bugis around; the service is good; breakfast is relatively simple, and there is a Yabo Center nearby that is good for eating; Sim Lim Square nearby It is said that the water is deep, so please be cautious when shopping; there are no dental appliances, there are fewer charging ports, and no water is provided.

While the hotel's location is undeniably perfect for exploring the main City attractions, the aging facilities and lack of soundproofing in the rooms do leave room for improvement. Cleanliness is a fundamental aspect of any accommodation, and it's unfortunate that it fell short during my visit. Nonetheless, the friendly and welcoming staff do their best to make your stay enjoyable.

Known that the cost of accommodation in Singapore is skyrocket high. This place is worth the value at its price range. Though the room is a bit small and tight, it provides all basic needs for the guests. The location is great, just next to Bencoolen MRT exit A. Dynasty food court is just a few walk away, also convenient stores are nearby. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Definitely be one of the best choices to be considered when traveling to Singapore.

Not worth the price paid for several reasons. Rooms were poorly maintained. Toilets mouldy on walls and shower screen, cracked tiles, musky smell in room, TV looked like it came directly from my childhood decades ago. The room is nothing like the pictures posted. Breakfast is poor. I'm not complaining about the lack of variety but the most basic requirement...the noodles were cold. Coffee was bland. There wasn't even water. You can give breakfast a miss. The worst was the pillows which gave me and my partner stiff necks. We tried folding them together but it was still too soft and flat. The only saving grace was its central location and proximity to the mrt station. At this price point, you will be better off booking Aqueen or Nuve properties. Truly disappointed.
