We loved our stay. We were nervous because previous reviews said the furniture and carpets needed replacement. Not true! The ambiance they are going for is a rustic cabin or fishing lodge. As far as I could tell, just one chair in each room is „distressed“ meaning the chair was new but had been beat up to make it look old. The breakfast was very good. I‘ve never seen croissants at a hotel breakfast before. We especially appreciated that the rooms were truly clean-no stray hairs or flecks of junk to try to ignore. I thought the beds were perfect while my husband said they were a little too firm.

We have stayed the last two weekends the service is great. The ladies that have been at the front desk have been pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are run down, you can tell they are not getting cleaned properly, toe nail clippings on the floor, mold around the drain spout on the whirlpool, rips in the furniture, show drain was full of hair. Wall paper is ripped in spots and peeling off the walls. Seam tape on the ceilings are coming off. They was no soaps or lotions left (not really a big deal). These rooms are over priced Super 8 rooms. I have stayed in what one would think are subpar hotels that were better. Very outdated rooms.

Used to be top class, we've been here several times since it opened...now its worn & shows signs of aging...for the price, we'll be going elsewhere from now on

Check in was smooth, Couldn’t get much sleep walls are so thin u can hear the people next door snoring and kids all hours of the night out in pool screaming! Even with ac on the room felt like it was a sauna…

The breakfast is average. There was no coffee in the breakfast room although there was in the lobby. The attendant was not very attentive.
The bed was hard with a balled up comforter.
Since I was there for 3 nights, i asked for a view... it was a parking garage.

This is always our favorite place to stay when we go to Sioux City, IA. The staff is always awesome, the rooms are always clean and the location is great.

I had a terrible experience with the front desk agent over night. I recently moved from sioux city and am only in town bc my daughter went into labor early and had her baby 7 wks early. I was with her in the hospital and when i came back to the hotel after leaving i stopped to grab something to snack on and went to the front desk to pay for it. The agent was so rude. She insinuated i had more items in my purse. When i realized i had no cash i asked ifi could charge to the room and she sighed, made a comment under her breath. I remained kind to her and when i asked her about breakfast she only responded that your property serves breakfast.

From the moment we arrived, we were pleased with our stay. I had injured my knee and was using a walker. The manager greeted and immediately offered us a first floor room with walk-in shower for my ease and comfort instead of the 2nd floor room. It was so appreciated. We were there to attend a concert at Tyson. A very short walk to the Tyson north entrance....shorter than a walk from parking. Sleep was wonderful. The best hotel bed we've slept in over the past year of hotels. The breakfast options were quite varied. The food was great. Just wish they had a hotel in Sioux Falls. We will stay here next trip to Sioux City.
