Elegant Dammuso behind Piazza Duomo

Overall we had a nice experience and the ultimate location was pretty good - easy access to all sights/sounds on Ortigia island and also an easy walk back to the mainland. However this was my first experience where I did not get my property access details in the promised 24hrs before the allowed check-in time through the ******* website - I waited a few more hours and then decided to reach out to the provided mobile number via text. After no reply for 3 more hours I then called and nobody answered. I was nearly about to cancel the booking when I received a phone call that resulted in full details with the next hour - essentially at 8pm for a possible 2pm next day check-in. The reason given was problems with the ******* site in providing me the details - however direct texting also yielded no replies - only after a phone call did I get a response.
