Not bad, why is Mao’s rating so low? Compared with surrounding hotels, the price/performance ratio is good. The room is quite big. It is a suite with a separate bedroom and a small living room. It has a kitchen stove, a washing machine, and if you need to dry more clothes, please call the front desk for a 100 lira fee. The breakfast is average and the heating is sufficient. The hygiene and facilities are not bad compared to surrounding hotels of the same price range.

The room was very clean, I didn’t utilize the breakfast much. It was a convenience to have a washer in the room. The best about this hotel was the customer service. The employees are incredibly helpful and friendly.

I stayed at this hotel from October 14 to 19, 2023 on my way back to Canada. The hotel is relatively small but very clean and tidy. The location is close to Taksim squire and Metro. The staff and management are very friendly and great, helpful and honest. Emir and his wife were exceptionally good and decent. I also loved the breakfast. It was testy and balanced. I confidently recommend the place for the price.

friendly staff, the rooms were big for the price we've paid for, especially in Istanbul. Great value for your buck. The only downfall was the location of the property. It is with a decent walking distance to Taksim Square, however, what google doesnt tell you is that in order to walk there, you must climb those stairs right next to the hotel follow by a uphill slope afterwards. If you dont wanna walk, the taxi costs about 100 Lira ($3 - 4 at the time of the review is written), not expensive but just a heads up :) Thank you again for everyone making this a great stay.
