Fantastic location ! Excellent communication from owner . Love the self check in with the keypad and key box . Room was lovely ! Fresh towels and a little kitchenette . Bed comfy and clean ! Will definitely return

It was 3 landings high, the stairs are very steep and with luggage plus 2 young children it was very challenging. We couldn't get the key in as it was bent, it took a while to sort it. The apartment itselt needs a total refurb it's so run down and dirty as my pictures will show. It's not safe to have children in as there are broken sockets, nails hanging out and holes in the walls. Both bedrooms have en-suite yet there was no hot water coming out the taps, I didn't complain about this as I had already had to message to say we had no towels or tea towels at all and we were still waiting for them to get some towels to us the next morning. I messaged at 4 pm saying we had no towels and they replied at 9 pm asking if we wanted them now or in the morning | replied now but in our full stay we got no 24hours and it was an absolute sham!!! I write reviews all the time, I have never had to write one like this. I messaged them when we left telling them basically how disappointed we were and they never even responded to my message.

We stayed in room 18, after initially being given room 9 which the owners had double booked. The key was missing from the key box but the room was unlocked so way to lock the door. A spare was eventually found , and we checked out the previous occupiers reviews and photos which showed the damage to sockets, fridge, doors etc, stains on the wall and burn marks on both bedside plugs , all of which did not appear to have been remedied. All the fire extinguishers had been removed from the top floor hangers.

Location is ideal for town, funfair etc.. Rooms are clean with plenty of facilities. Prices for summer holidays are average. Car park around the corner. Ideal for holidays at the seaside.

Me and my friend booked in here very last minute and the host and his family did nothing but help us and give us the best stay,they were accommodating,caring and friendly and we will definitely be staying here again!

The hot water was temperamental which is not ideal when your staying with 3 young children it didn’t work half the time or if it did would keep going hot or cold. It wasn’t very clean there was a cloth in here when I arrived that was slimey and stunk also a towel hanging up in the bathroom with makeup on tooth paste marks on the bathroom mirror dust on the top of the sink hairs in the bath No tea towel provided so struggled with the washing up it also said on the list of items there would be a hair dryer and there wasn’t I was provided with two towels and a hand towel for 4 guests. Barely any cutlery and they was dirty and old. 3 o’clock check in I found was very late for check in which left me having to wonder around until I could actually get into my room 1/2 would be a lot more convenient also the 10am check out time I also found to be early. I found the apartment noisy it sounded like someone was playing football against the wall all night continuous banging and loud noise. House keeper was ready to enter the apartment as she had down I was leaving a day earlier than I actually was. The only thing I would say was good is the location apart from that I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately.

Was worried after reading loads of reviews, we had room 15 sea view room and was just as the photos. Yes the stair lift can be a bit tricky to get round with bags, also no electric sockets near the mirror so my wife couldn’t do her hair in the mirror. But overall we would definitely stay again as the room was decent and in an excellent location. Just a few small little touches could make it so much better.

Great location although noisy at times-to be expected when you have a sea front apartment. The cleanliness could have been better. The air fryer had already been used and the kitchen bin had some waste in it. The carpet could have done with a better hoover and the curtains on the balcony door had food/stains on them as well. The kitchenette was well equipped with pottery, glassware and utensils but some scissors would be a welcome addition. It was all self check in-which was quite simple-but this means that the apartments lack any character, warmth or friendliness that would be present with a manned reception.

I returned to the apartment at around 1:00am only to find that I could not get into the building due to a fault with the front entrance door. I repeatedly called the emergency number and rang the doorbell, but nobody answered. Not a single response from anyone despite being stranded outside in the middle of the night. As a result, I was forced to sleep in my car until 9:00am. The next morning, I had to travel to the sister hotel to find someone who could help. When they eventually attended the property, it turned out the front door was faulty and had to be forcefully opened because the magnetic locking system had failed. The most concerning part is not just the faulty door, but the complete lack of support. What’s the point of having an emergency contact number if nobody answers it? If there had been a genuine emergency, guests would have been completely on their own. I paid for accommodation that I could not access or use for the entire night because of their technical failure. Being locked out overnight and forced to sleep in a car is not what anyone expects when paying for accommodation. Poor maintenance, non-existent customer service, and a complete disregard for guest welfare. I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere.
