Bourtzi Hotel

Well what can I say about this wonderful hotel! Before I went I read the reviews and thought surely it can’t be this good! I was wrong, it was better! The hotel is perfect and by far the best customer service I have ever encountered. Dimitrus and his team were incredible. I felt like we had our own private concierge service. Dimitrus welcomed us with a free drink in their beautiful bar which is perfect for people watching, comfortable and lovely drinks! We got a detailed overview of the beautiful island and he went on to arrange transport and days out to the several beautiful beaches. He also arranged the best boat trip on an authentic sailing ship with snorkelling and fresh food made on board. The hotel was immaculately clean, breakfast was fantastic and every member of the team couldn’t have been any more helpful. I have fell in love with Skiathos and can now understand why it’s called the boomerang island. We are returning this year and would never stay anywhere else apart from this beautiful boutique hotel! Also the location is PERFECT! I loved the special touch of being orovided with beach bags & towels. Book and I promise you won’t regret it!

An amazing hotel in the very centre of Skiathos town yet quiet and calm. A small family hotel (38 rooms) with a pool set in the side streets of Skiathos. A beautiful modern boutique hotel where the staff were excellent and so friendly and helpful. Dimitri and his staff cannot help enough and give great advice on where to go, how to get there, where to eat etc. and feel like friends by the end of your holiday. The hotel breakfasts were excellent in choice and in the quality of produce. The hotel was exceptionaly clean and well maintained with well thought about rooms which was larger than normally experienced and all seemed to be looking into courtyard pool area. They get 10/10 in every area from us.

From your the minute we arrived at the hotel we received outstanding service and advice from Dimitri regarding beaches, boats and restaurants. Our whole holiday was enhanced by his expertise. Furthermore, the location of the hotel enabled us to explore the whole island throughout the daytime whilst enjoying Skiathos Town, with ease, in the evening. A fantastic hotel!

We really enjoyed staying at the Bourtzi. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was wonderful. The food at breakfast was delicious and there was lots of choice. The hotel is in a really good location in the centre of town but was always quiet and peaceful. It was our third visit to Skiathos and we really enjoyed our holiday. We will definitely visit again.

Absolute beautiful gem of a hotel. Brilliant staff, beautiful rooms. Lovely breakfast something for everyone. This gorgeous hotel is steps away from Skiathos Town. We will certainly return. Thank you again.

I would highly recommend the Bourtzi hotel. It’s in a great location in a little side street in the old town. We had a superior room and it was one of the nicest and biggest rooms I’ve had when staying in Europe, and was absolutely spotless. Breakfast is really good too, great selection with good quality produce. What makes this hotel really special though is Dimitrus and his staff. They go above and beyond to make your stay as nice as possible. Dimitrus spends time when you arrive showing you where everything is on the island. Bourtzi is a brilliant hotel - as soon as you enter there is such a welcome and a feel of peace. So convenient for all Skiathos has to offer but really quiet when inside. Our room overlooking the pool was kept immaculately clean and such a comfy bed. All toiletries provided and replaced as were towels and tea etc. Breakfast was always fresh with plenty of variety.it was so relaxing to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine or cuppa. The added bonus of a cocktail bar for people watching in the evening. Dimitri and all the staff just wanted to please and make sure everyone was having a good holiday. Sun beds, restaurants, trips could all be booked without hesitation, even provided beach towels in a bag on request. We loved the Mama Mia cruise - Elisabet boat - and also the wine tasting. So many excellent restaurants Thanks for a great weeks holiday

We have just arrived back from a wonderful 2 week stay at the Bourtzi. The location, the rooms and the food are fantastic but it’s the staff and the hospitality they offer that makes this hotel one of the best in Skiathos. Second time we visited this hotel and will definitely return. Dimitri and his staff are excellent ,genuinely can’t do enough for you and will advise you about all aspects of your stay ie best beaches depending on wind direction etc! Hotel is spotless, perfect location centre of Skiathos town. Brilliantly run hotel, thank you!
